Bayside, Queens: anything there?

Hello NY NT'ers, I'm heading out to NY for 4th of July and im going to be staying in Bayside, Queens and my godfather's home. I was curious tosee if there are any decent spots for sneakers and/or fitteds in the area? From Google'ing it, its pretty east from NYC but I might be able to score mygodfather's car from him. also, how is that area?

So anyhelp would be great. If you dont want to blow up a spot PM me, I wont clean it out or anything.

nuttin there but rich kids driving mommy and daddy's car's...trust me. I live in Bayside.

wow, I was not expecting that. Huge change from where I used to stay at when I went out there in corona.
