That game is a real hidden gem.

A lot of greatness has been posted thus far but if I had to pick one game, I would go with Ocarina of Time. Zelda was epic enough in quasi-3D but to take thebest franchise and to place it in a 3D environment, with the graphics that were great for the time, original characters and pretty good story line is to makethe best game ever. Playing through that game back as a freshman in High School was a great experience and it helped to cope with the NBA lockout.
