Best movie franchise of all time?

The Amazing Spider-Man with Andrew Garfield. Easily the best Spider-Man

Matrix. I enjoyed each one of them thoroughly. And have rewatched all of them multiple times. It would have been Rocky but Rocky 5 was horrible.

And this is a terrible question because so many great franchises would have been great if this new era didn't decide to reboot ****.

Really? I just rewatched for the first time since the early 2000's.

The original is still an amazing watch and obviously a decade defining classic.

I thought Reloaded aged terribly, and just wasn't a very good movie.

It completely put me off on rewatching Revolutions.

Best franchise for me is easily the Bond films. :pimp:

Starwars, Mission Impossible and Lord of the Rings all honorable mentions.

Are you confusing the term movie franchise with movie trilogy or something?

The MCU is literally a franchise of movies.
I am looking at those things are separate.

Franchises and Series.

I view MCU as a Franchise.

I view the Terminators/FF/Karate Kids as a Series.

Well thread title says franchise and then the OP listed The Terminator.

So when he did that I thought he was including ALL Terminator movies so every reboot with every recast not just the first 3.

Like to me when somebody says LotR I'd include The Hobbit trilogy since its basically a prequel.

Somebody says Fast & Furious even with the 9 movies or w/e I'd say Hobbs & Shaw is a part of that.

Like the Bond movies is without a doubt a franchise. Same with Batman.
