So I need to move out from the apt I'm in by the end of the month and have been searching CL daily for rooms for rent in almost every borough. But it's either to hard to find somebody in my age range (college student), or else they seem like the hipster/uppity type who i don't want to live with, or else the apt is in the two fare zone which I'm not trying to do. I have a fair budget so it shouldn't be this hard, I've had roommates before who I got along with fine, but they were basically the same age with similar interests.
Are there any other sites or ways to find similar roommates? Or should I just stick to CL and hope for the best?
My budget is like $550-$700/month btw. Thanks for any help
