Better Call Saul Season Thread - Season Six - April 18th

Stopped watching after season 1 finale is it still worth watching or is this show fizzling out ?

This is the prequel to Breaking Bad. :rollin

Did y'all really think they weren't gonna eventually introduce everyone, including Walt?

Didn't Mike hook Walt up with Saul? Of course there's a connection to Gus. And Tio Salamanca is a big part of the show now, along with Tuco. Y'all are tripping.

I mean yeah, i figured all this was coming.

But I thought this was on some Rogue One ****.

A stand alone tie in, not necessarily a prequel.

They could of introduced so many new characters and maybe the last season introduce Gus like the last 5 min of RO introduced ANH.

I'm going to trust them to do things right, but I wouldn't mind waiting to see Gus.

:lol
everyone acting like gus is going to be front and center this season off of a commercial. I bet we barely get anything from fring other than "someone with ties to the cartel doing big things here." Yeah he was on BB but he was still a supporting character, just like he will be on here, dude's trippin because the actor(who did a phenomenal job) made his performance so worthwhile, you'd think BB was the Gustavo Fring story.

Vince gonna be methodical with introducing Fring like he has been with all characters and give him a proper, quality reintroduction to the audience. He might not even pop up until midway and even that Jimmy and Mike still got to be employed by him, if Gus gave Walt the run around and test before working with him you think he's gonna just jump at the chance to work with mike, let alone Jimmy. :lol

Plenty of things still need to happen before Gus is a full blown addition, namely Hector catchin the hands from whoever and ending up in that nursing home

Gus gets maybe 15 minutes total screen time this season but the actor gonna make it seem like it's longer

We knew Gus was coming since the end of last season. Why whine about it now? :lol

Expect Hank back too soon enough.

I never cared about Mike's character or storyline, but it is what it is. Just gotta sit back and enjoy the shows. They're still great.

Mike's motivation to be a criminal is a great story. This show is about how they ALL break bad, including Saul's scumbag brother.

I just hope to god that they don't focus on Saul's brother at all anymore. Two seasons of that same ******* storyline with him was way too damn much. That is the equivalent of if the first two seasons of Breaking Bad focused on another unlikable character like Skyler.

Aww man Gus back already?

Guess I meed to go head and accept the fact that this is just a BB prequel.
Think of BCS as an expansion of the Breaking Bad universe.

That was the plan from the shows inception. They literally started working on BCS months after BB ended with it being a direct spinoff and prequel.

Y'all expect them not to milk all these great characters they've created here?

Still think we'll get to watch Saul grow, but in most cases a show can handle more than one plot. Just close your eyes whenever there's a callback to Breaking Bad.

Family Matters, a Different World, Different Strokes, those are spin offs and yet are still thier own show.

This is a BB prequel which is cool, but wasn't what I was expecting.

I will accept it as that.

Those are all also sitcoms with much looser storylines and a much more fluid universe. Honestly, when I heard of the show I was hoping it would be an extension of the universe, so I'm biased.:lol

Exactly ...like Sual is connected to ALL these characters from breaking bad, of course they gon pop up n have a storyline in this show ...in BB Saul supposed to be plugged into the criminal world in that city , they gotta show how that happened n Gus is a major part in it

So a fanboy is upset the showrunners aren't telling the story his way and blames fanboys? Fans are weird sometimes.

Basically all I'm really reading here.

Thing is so far it's not like Saul's story isn't being told here.

In BB, they hint heavily that Saul is aware of certain ppl already. Gus included.

Blasphemy, I absolutely love Mike's character and always have. His episode was by far the best of season 1.

Gus is obviously established when this show started. Give us flashbacks at least of this guys past. That's what I want.
