Saul don't got that Harvey from Suits drive. If he had a partner like that then I could see him being more ambitious.Dude could have had partner tho....
It was a venting ep for Jimmy. Still reeling from the revelations about his own brother. He goes back home, reminisces with an old friend, gets back in to old habits, decides to go back to reality and gets some grief before he leaves and then with invigorated spirit finally decides to do things his own way not following Chuck's path.I feel like when they wrote the final episode they weren't sure they'd get a second season...that would make sense as to why there wasn't a cliffhanger and the series ties up nice and neat.
My issue is that it was completely stagnant. I thought the season was great but this episode was completely pointless.
It was a total character focus ep as he developed and is transforming in to Saul. Far from stagnant. Yeah maybe some of that could've been condensed but then you gotta recognize real world things like this show initially not being guaranteed a S2.
