Better outdoor shoe: kobe 3 or CP?

I'm in need of a shoe for playing outside this summer and I'm trying to decide between the two. I know that neither one is ideal for playing outdoors,but I want something really light (not soldiers). I tried on the Jordan CP today and it was surprisingly light and pretty comfy. I haven't tried on thekobe 3 but i know it's supposed to be extremely light. I like the looks of the kobe 3 better than the CP- it just doesn't make me go

like the kobe 3 did the first time I saw it. My concern is traction. I'veheard it's terrible and I'm afraid that it will wear very quickly on an outdoor court. For those of you that have them, what do you think about thetraction? Is it really that bad? Also, I really like the SL colorway better than the other GRs (don't care if they get dirty), but I don't know ifthe leather would make them hotter on the foot than the ones with mesh.
Just wanted to get opinions from people who have them.
