big sean featuring kendrick lamar and jay electronica "no i.d" freestyle

I've been saying what Maino is saying for years

If you're 18, you grew up on the internet and the radio. A 14 year old is trying to be like Lebron, KD or Kobe, he didn't see Jordan. You didn't grow up on Wu or Nas. You know Lil Wayne and Drake. The radio is corporate controlled and no longer locally owned and regional. It's programmed from another state. There's like 20 something major slots for songs throughout the day, and only a major is getting a slot and someone has to move out of a slot for you to get it. Those slots are going to the big dawgs. Before radio would the same song every four hours, then it became three and now it's like two. Because they want to hit you with a banga as often as possible to keep you listening. So if you're a kid and you want to be a rapper, where are you influences coming from? And to top it off, even if you want to rap like Joey Badass. You want to sell records, get money, move out the hood. So who are you going to sound like? You're going to try to sound just like what you hear on the radio or what you see on TV.

And to top it all off you see **** like Gucci, Waka and Chief Keef getting play and making them rich? You don't even have to be talented, anyone can do it. What seems cooler, being like Waka or Talib Kweli? Who seems like they're getting money and chicks?

And Pap wasn't upset at Kendrick in that interview. He was upset at Rosenberg. Dudes a ****** phony. He seems to think people don't realize it. He seems to think his way of being controversial and boosting ratings is doing **** like this.

****** got pet names and **** for him. **** this thread.
We didn't give him that name. It's his nickname from my understanding. Do you only refer to JayZ as JayZ? Quite sure you've used J****, Hov, J-Hova to refer to him before.

Lol @ J I G G A being edited

Oh ****

The rapper Xzibit made his way into the thread.

Maino wack though...always a wack ***** giving an interview like he hold some weight on the mic.

Please.

More excuses on why NY fell off, don't blame the radio. Dudes just don't have the skills like the vets we grew up on, don't put it on what sells.

Why do sales matter, why do radio spins and relevancy matter, deals and video hits?

Damn.

Kendrick spit a hot verse, some other cats replied with some hot verses.

Can we get back to judging lyrics and music?

Hip-Hop fans played a huge part in the genre falling off.

Rappers overall don't have the skills they used to have. Why is that?

Even if they had them, they wouldn't use them, because that's not what would get them a deal or radio play.

Why y'all call this ***** k.dot

Because his name was K Dot before he started using his government
