Black Culture Discussion Thread

Just look at the stats on American marriages. 50% of all marriages will eventually end in divorce, which are initiated by 70% of all married women. Those rates go up to 90% if the woman is college educated. You would have to be out of your mind to get married in the States, if you have something to lose as a man.

That's like sticking your hand in a bowl of poisoned candy, with a 50% percent rate of you eating the poisoned candy in the bowl. I've seen couples in their 50,s and 60,s recently get divorced.

Alot of people are following an old construct, when it comes to marriages. The majority of married couples i know right now, aren't genuinely happy with each other.

They're just tolerating each other, because if the time and money that's been invested into it.

what you see might be true for you anecdotally but i think the statistics are all over the place in terms of marriage & divorce (for example marriage of college educated couples get divorced at much lower rates, similarly with higher earners, there likely is some correlation there)…as well as the limited nature of statistics generally, i think women do tend to have more ‘incentive’ to file for divorce even as statistically they tend to be worse off for it in a bunch of outcomes.

Nature is undefeated.

It will adjust to the environment, biology, and culture, that we create.

It is in a woman's DNA/Biology to prioritize her survival and men have created a world for her to do so without us.

Works for me because I'm getting more access to sex than I ever had in my younger days and I don't have to worry about divorce or child support.

definitely think it true that we have fashioned a world that doesn’t necessarily need/reward explicitly coupling for the long term as in past generations & thus there are different values at play today. birth control probably functionally eliminated the idea of ‘shotgun weddings’ such that it really isn’t even a thing anymore; sexual liberation, women’s ability to earn, combined w/state protection, and men & women’s tendencies in sexual selection create a different set of ‘carrots & sticks’ but a lot of folk are moving as if the old rules still apply…

Women initiate divorce in America at a rate of 70%. Recent studys shows that the rate goes up to 90%, when the woman is educated with a college degree of some sort. When i read that information a few months back, i stepped back, and reexamined the married couples ive known throughout my life. The educated high earning women, that were married or in a relationship, had difficulty in them, or either eventually divorced.

The marriages that survived, those women somewhat controlled the relationship, and the husband or boyfriend was soft, or docile. So the man didn't really have power in the relationship, in comparison to the woman. This is why when a woman earns alot of money, it's hard for her to even find a man, that she will respect. That's when she out earns her man.

On the flipside, whenever these women try to find a man who out earn her, it doesn't work out the majority of the time. Because those specific types of men, don't want to be consistently challenged or ish tested alot. What's so cold about this topic, is that the educated women that ive grown up around, are either divorced, single, or with a man that she can run and control.

It's so crazy, i know a couple of highly educated chicks dating prisoners, or just straight up low lives. Then the men who are on their level, are dating or marrying women, who docile, not as educated, or from a different country, who haven't been westernized yet.

Ive seen two educated people who have had long successful marriages, but those couples were way older, and of different cultures and races. They were Caucasians, Indians, and asians. When it comes to our race/culture, it doesn't look good when it comes to the marriage rate going forward in the future.

Because at this point, it's all about power and control. It's also about competition and sizing each other up, once you first meet while dating. Also, marriage was built on a foundation that's similar to business, so alot of people are marrying for the wrong reasons nowadays.

Why did they get divorced?

Not pandering but we are usually not holding up our ends of the relationship which causes them to initiate the divorces.

don’t know if that’s true but it is interesting that men remarry at (substantially so depending on the demographic) higher rates than women, which might support that thought as a hypothesis or it could be that men derive or see (if not actually, maybe just in how men are viewed) more benefit from marriage than women or just that divorced women tend to be less desirable in the marriage marketplace

Re: Remarriage

I think it's easier for us to get up And move on to something new. Our "next play" ability might be greater than theirs.

Also, they will be the ones that are left with the "baggage" (kids) which reduces their value on the market.

But I definitely believe dudes mess up relationships more than woman. Easily.

Yea that's not to say women don't do their dirt but if it doesn't work, I think a safe bet is dude is at fault. And if she files for divorce it is rarely after the FIRST time dude stepped out.
Women absolutely do their dirt, but it’s rarely all out in the open.

And let’s just be honest, an attractive woman can get smashed any day out the week without doing anything but existing, so there’s little evidence. As a man, if you want side chicks you’re gonna have to put in some effort which results in evidence. Now your ego kicks in and you’re holding on to nudes from a chick you ain’t even cracked yet, completely forgetting the fact your iCloud account is synced to your iPad. Boom now you’re caught:lol:

Traditional marriages/families no longer fit in today's world amongst modern men/women.

Some might even say traditional marriages/families are a threat.

Women are hypergamous. It's not personal.

(Rich and powerful) men have removed the consequences of hypergamy and weaponized it for their benefit.

No-fault divorce, biased child support laws, legalized abortion, affirmative action, and birth control are all created by rich and powerful men.

Rampant public misandry propaganda was created by rich and powerful men.

"Only Fans" / porn industry was created by rich and powerful men.

Feminism is a useful political tool to drive a wedge between men and women. Divide and conquer.

The destruction of the nuclear family has been incentivized in favor of profits.

In some states dating a single mother could result in a man becoming liable for child support, for another man's kid.

"Me Too Movement" / "Believe all Women" (no more due process),

"My Body, My Choice" (accountability for thee but not for me),

Men stuck with child support regardless of the results of the DNA test,

Alimony / Ex-Husband paying for a house for her and her new man to live in, and child support for kids that he can't visit at the house he pays for.

There are no consequences for a woman leaving a good husband, breaking up her family, and becoming a single mom just because her values aren't aligned with her nature.

The powers that be find her labor and consumerism beneficial to their coffers and her offspring are more likely to become food for their machine.

Of course, this catches up to all of us later on but that's another topic.

God, Family, Country?

Not today you misogynist! How dare you!

From the marriages I know irl that ended up in divorce, it was always the men (cheated, had an outside kid, in Nigeria, physically abusive)

I was speaking to the part you "reexamined the married couples ive known throughout my life. The educated high earning women, that were married or in a relationship, had difficulty in them, or either eventually divorced."

Why did the people in your life end up in divorce?

Men and women cheat at similar rates.

Women are no more or less virtuous than men.

Women are physically abused more often in lesbian relationships than they are with men.

These narratives have been debunked over and over again, yet they persist socially though media/propaganda.

Also, the modern communication skills amongst people has just changed also. A lot of people lack interpersonal communication skills or don’t know how to socialize altogether. People have got to accustomed to text messaging and using phones to communicate. When they get in person, they barely know how to have a conversation.

People barely know how to get to know a person or, ask certain questions to vet or get background information.

And finally, Women cheat also. Women can be just as nasty as men. I never understood people who automatically assume that it’s a man who caused a relationship to go awry.

Women have outside kids or don’t even know who the baby’s dad is sometimes.

With the advent of social media and more avenues to meet people, it’s increased.

People seem to dismiss social media in these arguments. Look how many men and woman alike, take half naked photos or post all types of sexual innuendos online.

People want an “old fashioned” marriage/lifestyle but the world isn’t at the level anymore.

You can’t want old fashioned values, in a world that’s drastically changed. It doesn’t add up.

Lastly, if you’re a man and expecting a child with a woman, you better ALWAYS get a DNA test. Paternity tests should be mandatory. Dudes get sucker into taking care of kids that aren’t theirs

I would never sign a birth certificate without a DNA test
