Black guy hair cuts

NAH bro. I ended up chopping my Hair Off about 2-3 weeks ago. Now, I'm just back to a Low Fade (some call it Nas Fade)... 1st Low Cut for me since Christmas of '12.

Guess I was just tired of the maintenance, but when I do eventually grow it back, I will def. be effing w/ the "Dark & Lovely" products.

I likes her. I wants her.

Been using the Shea stuff for about 3 months now. It came out a little less curly the dude in the video. I like it so far

no wonder why i have yet to see any curls while using shea smh been doing everything backwards

That's what I was thinkin at first but idk look at the texture of his hair before it's pretty thick and nappy like a typical fro and not what some of these cornballs would call good hair. Either way my hair the shea moisture x nudred has worked for me and I don't have mixed hair. Give it a try if you're feeling it.

My brother is not mixed and his hair turned exactly like the vid. Its true its about texture not being "mixed"

Im in the process of growing my hair out to also give it a go

How do you use the nudred? Circular motion?

That aint a "mixed" hair texture though. Bruh had to add all that stuff to make his curls pop, mixed people usually dont even gotta add products

If you currently have waves or had them at some point, you can get curls like in that vid.

Waves = curls that have been laid down.

I am 100% black, mixed with nothing and my hair looks just like that after I wash it. Then when I brush it, the waves come.

Yea it's gotta be circular motions. You have to be consistent in the direction of the circular motion too. This can be kinda confusing at first because say you go clockwise with your right hand, on your left side assuming your using your left hand you actually have to rotate the opposite direction to achieve that same clockwise motion. Because of this I don't use my left hand at all, all right hand.

Funny you mention this I actually just cut off my curls for certain reasons. I thought my waves would be completely gone but they started to come back same day.

Word i was rockin the cudi fade for the longest after i wolf it out

How long y'all grow your hair for when doing curls? I'm impatient when I grow my hair.

I don't have his hair texture. He's mixed, that's not gonna work for me
Thats not really the case today. Its all about what your styling method is. If I spend quite of bit of time on my hair I can get results like his, if I slop something together I'll look like I left the scurl in too long. You just have to experiment as everyones hair is different.

Getting paranoid about my hairline, barbers keep leaving it a little slanted and pushed back smh

Would it be weird to just ask for a low fade with no line up? Until my lineup grows back naturally...
nope, i do that from time to time when i feel my line is too pushed back, i get a couple cuts with no line

if you have facial hair, as long as you keep that clean, you can get away without a lineup

I always find this phrase funny/ironic, given that Black Americans (North & South American), in essence are MIXED 99% of The Time.

Our breed didn't even really exist until about 500 Years ago. Lol

Carry on tho.
