Matter fact, those are just varying amounts of hair. There is no fade action as far as I can tell.

That fade looks like what happened to me when I first tried fading myself . No blending whatsoever :x. Had to hit up my barbershop in shame the next day and most of them were dying

Well, well, well. Didn't get anyone to take pics for me YET, so I went against my "code" and took some myself lol. They're not the best, but just to give an idea of what my hair looks like.

Y'all dread heads don't worry about any eventual hair thinning/bald spots? I stay seeing ppl with dreads having some serious issues with that.

Lol ......and for the record rillo's of any sort are :x, so no I don't walk to wal-mart to buy one in all nickles and dimes.

And for Mister Meaner , it's the thin dreads/locs that causes one to experience that. Mine for example are too thick, so if I were to make it to 100 yrs old I'd just have a head full of these gray dreads (don't think I'll ever naturally go bald if my father is an indication). But when they're too small it puts so much stress on the hair because there's only a couple of strands of hair holding up the individual dread which gains weight the longer it gets. I have thousands of hairs for each individual dread due to the thickness of the root bed/dreads.
