Black Infrared VI's returning in 2014. NO GM TALK!

View media item 658492 as u can see I am n need! Bought these in 2000 and havent worn them in 6yrs. The rubber is disintegrating from being in the box. I cant even put them on without the outsole coming apart. Sad face!

Well... 6 years of not wearing them probably has a lot to do with it...

I bought em in January, they were DS, worn em a handful of times since then. I was surprised myself. idk what it is about those 2000 Infrareds tho, even 3-4 years back every pair I saw for sale had some kind of sole cracking

Let me reiterate, as I have ever since they started this blue sole crap.

Shoes from 1990/91-2000/01 had white clear sole and if you held them at a certain angle you could see a blue tint when they were deadstock.

Today, there's no hint of blue.......it's just blue.

And it looks ugly.

Don't get them then

anyone else think of the air max 180: marines when they saw the white 6's?

Blue sole talk is really old. So olds the phrase "blue sole talk is old" is old. just buy or don't buy they will yellow eventually

Owned black infr 6s from 2000, have infrared pack and I'm like bring on the blue sole. I like it, have no problems with how it looks and understand its purpose. Makes em super icey. I'm just glad they used the correct infrared color, true to the OG. They're perfect.

I 'm Belgian , I live in europe, I speak french and I do not speak English very well .
I hope you understand what I tried to translate with google translate .

I'm not a collector and I don't know as well the shoes that the most of you. I just buy some shoes that were release when I was between 18 and 25 years.

when I read the comments on jordans 6 black / infrared , I see that many of you are not happy with reissue , color infrared is not true to the original, the material used (suede) is different than the original, the sole is not transparent but blue ...

I have several questions to ask jordan specialists :

I do not understand why jordan brand does not listen your comments and not exactly reproduces the original version of the black / infrared .

In your opinion , what is the reason ?
is what the designers definitely want to put their touch in the design of the shoe and therefore the re-edited slightly modified ?
maybe the young designers don't know the original version?
they may not want to replicate the original as not to break the sales market .

In any case, jordan brand don't care about opinions of buyers and collectors.
they only produce models that they want and how they want
it's a shame because the original jordan 6 is beautiful .

They don't care, and why would they, since everything gets sold out in a day or two, no meter what materials.

your right man, most companies with customers this vocal would implement whatever changes their customers wanted (Microsoft and the Xbox One changes, just one example). my only guess would be because they know they have us by the balls with these retros and they will sell no matter what, so any changes are to cut costs. although not all changes cut costs, like putting the wrong shade of grey on the white cement 4s or not putting Nike Air on the back.

another reason might be because customers don't know what they want lol. a few years ago a common complaint was than Nike find a way to stop yellowing, now you have people complaining about it. but its pretty stupid for us to keep buying when they don't listen to us

It's because there is no middle ground, and some people are going to complain no matter what they do.

You retro too soon, people complain.
You have leather too soft, people complain
You have durabuck, people complain
You have them exact to the OG, people complain because it doesn't make theirs as valuable
You don't have them TTS for the particular person, people complain
They don't retro the colorway the person wants, people complain
They don't do new colorways with retro+'s, people complain
They release a ton of sneakers people complain
They make sneakers limited, people complain

Exactly nobody can be satisfied  sometimes I feel like JB has the worst customers. A majority of people seem to complain with some of those still buying their products :smh: I don't understand the point of constantly complaining about a shoe, A SHOE! It's not that big of a deal imo if someone doesnt like the shoe then move on
