Bolt Bus or Megabus from DC to NY

I am playing a trip this week and want to know which do niketalkers prefer. 

Pros?

Cons?

I have only come across negative reviews

also is there a preferred time to go where traffic would be lighter

Honestly man, the bus is wack, even though its cheap like 40-50 roundtrip, the trip always takes like 5 hours, and sometimes it can be like 8 depending on traffic, I think the shortest I ever made it was 4 hrs and 30. I goto nyc a lot and I pretty much only take the train, if you book about 2 weeks in advance roundtrip is 100 bucks and its mad comfortable, and the longest train ride is like 3hr and 40 min. Usually make it in like 3 hr 15 min.

a bus is a bus is a bus if you ask me.. save some $$ & just jump on the "China" bus ..last time i went it was $30-35 roundtrip

i went with bolt bus, the dc location was organized but the nyc location was hell. wifi was slow as heck but other than that everything was as expected
