I feel as if the tongue wasn't mentioned earlier in the thread so many people wouldn't have even noticed let alone complain about it. All of sudden everyone cares about the tongue color. Only way I see it being a problem is if you plan on tucking your jeans into your socks/sneakers like they do in Canada

Dude... as a Canadian... you gotta explain this for me. Tucking pants so the tongues stick out is a Canadian thing?

Or you know....we can wear shorts. Tongues are always mentioned with 7s. This was the same thing with the Hares thread. Everyone wanted some of that green on their tongues.

So I originally was not going to get these and go for the 2011s but after all this talk about not knowing what "better quality" means I decided to pick up one of the raffles I won to avoid FOMO (fear of missing out). And I honestly don't know how to feel. This is my first remastered 7 and my second remastered jordan in general. My first was the SBB. I'm not sure what I was expecting but as far as quality goes, it was kind of underwhelming. I would say the remastering thing is a gimmick but my SBBs are amazing quality. Not sure if I am going to keep these or get the 2011 pair still. I'm gonna see my boys pair and compare. One thing is for sure, I am NOT a fan of that weird toe box bump. Don't care if it's on the OG or not.

Safe to say you got one of the worst pairs with the toebox hump.  If I were you I'd try to exchange them at the store you purchased them from for a better pair.

Just checked my local CL listing... Prices are all over. As low as $220 to $320...

If I have to bring them back to the store I'm just gonna straight up return them. Which is honestly what I'm leaning towards. I took a break from jordan Retros for awhile and started picking up huarache runs and I can honestly say with out a doubt the cost vs benefit just isn't there for me. Huaraches have the same "tech", are literally 50 times more comfortable and $100 cheaper. I used to be able to get by in the past on style and nostalgia like a lot of you guys. But with this shoe in particular, the benefits do not out weigh the cost in my opinion. Glad that so many people were able to cook on this release though

Yep, this is part of the reason I held off on a so many releases. I haven't been going crazy this year. I have to REALLY like a shoe to buy them now. 

Price hike + shipping + tax = adds up

So yall both gonna cry about shipping like FNL isn't hitting you off with a $20 reward for every $200 spent? That pretty much negates shipping and sales tax for most.

Honest opinion, these are much better quality than my Hares. I wore my Hares once the toe box is #f#$$ ed. Glue stains all on the toe. I love my Bordeuxs. The yellow on my pair is a lot better than some I seen.

True story I wore my hares once, to my baby shower and my joints are up. I litterally had to stuff them with socks just to save face not to mention the fact that the red part right above the toe box is now raised and looks fluffy as well. Jordan Brand gets a fat L for those hares which are my second favorite jordan of all time

Look at your account in Finishline and it might have shipping . If for whatever reason they cancel they will reissue the reward.

you have to contact them about that reward. I used 3 rewards back to back to back and they canceled all 3 and never received my reward points back. So I called and got them reissued. Actually now that I am thinking about it I am missing one.

Placed my order at 10:25am Sat. I usually get tracking emails from them same day sometime in the afternoon. I'd be pissed if my order was somehow cancelled.

Edit: Checked on FNL.com under orders and both orders got tracking numbers. I checked the site maybe 15 mins ago and it wasn't updated. Crisis averted.

In my opinion, I feel that people are so used to the way the 2011 pair looks. Before 2011 the only release was in '92, and where i'm from people were just getting into J's around 2010, 2011ish. So them seeing the 2011 pair and not knowing the difference between them and the OG pair made them think that that 2011 pair is how the Bordeaux's are actually supposed to look, so when the 2015 pair came out they were instantly drawn away. I, myself picked up the 2015 pair and I am quite happy, I recently ordered some chrome lace tips to put on them and plan on rocking them soon. Quality wise, I like the 2015's, I do not own the 2011's so I could not give a fair comparison.
