BrandBlack

I hear you man.  Only heard good things about these.  Everyone is just waiting for a general release.  Even the phone order shops sold out.

I like the design, another similar shoe I want to try is the KD VII, but I have enough air based shoes.  Solid at the heel, but flexible at the forefoot.  It's amazing how much my tastes have changed.  I used to be all about Zoom, but now my favorite cushioning is Micro G.  I barely give modern Nike BBall any thought these days, mainly because of the price points, even though I know they still put out great performers.  UA and BrandBlack are doing great things, putting out nice designs and keeping prices reasonable.
I really like what Leo Chang/Nike did with the KD VII.  Forefoot zoom is bouncier than many of the other recent Nike releases.  It's the same narrow rectangle unit that was in the KD V and VI, but it doesn't feel muted like how the Kyrie 1 forefoot zoom is and apparently the new hyper revs too.  Heel max zoom is great too.  Traction is consistent and durable.  If you're curious about more on that shoe, hit me with a PM.

I've totally switched gears brand-wise as well.  For the longest time it was almost exclusively Nike or Jordan (maybe some Adidas) when I would buy a new pair to hoop in.  I won't forget that some of my favorite on-court models have come from Nike, but I'm glad someone threw a brick at me sometime within the past 2-3 years

finally realized that other brands were putting out some great stuff.

I know we knew that 3/15 was the date.  Curious what 3 colorways are coming though

Any word about retail price? I gotta start saving for these, a must have!
Not sure on retail.  My guess and hope is $140.

The Futurelegends pair was $160 but I think that may have been a mark up for the limited ed. + leather.  Either way, $160 or less for these is money well spent IMO.

I heard $140 as well - trying to keep the same as last year.

Haven't heard colorways yet, but just from the most seen in pics, I would guess blk/red, white/Royal, and an all black.

i think there is a chance it might just be the white/royal and black/red on 3/15...perhaps the all black will be a GR too..or a limited release on that date too.

only one i know i'm getting for sure is the white/royal

Mine are on the way from BB - but no idea what color.

Can't wait to see pics!

Also 3/15 should include apparel drops. I got the futurelegend performance T for free with the jc2s.. It's a 3xl (all they had left) and isn't even all that big. I'm normally an L or xl. I'd probably order another in an XL and would even consider a 2xl. Just a heads up you might need to size up. It's a nice shirt. Good material. Nice cut. Be interesting to see what comes out and the prices.

I really wouldn't mind seeing the smoked out pair with the reflective heel and red stitching.  That colorway is fire!

Looking forward to your thoughts on them duke

The insoles for this shoe are crazy -- different than the ones you get in BB's first round (which I already liked).  Don't know if they'll be the longest lasting, but they make for really nice step in comfort.

true, they feel super comfortable. I even use my own orthotics to play basketball and they are still very comfortable. (thanks to those small pads under the insoles that provide additional cushioning). I've played about 4 hours in these and so far I really really like them. Super comfortable, traction is nice, low to the ground but still enough cushioning. Simply a feel-good shoe. They do feel a bit roomy but I'm not sure if they actually run a tad big or if I simply had forgotten what a non-plastic/fuse/whatever- basketball sneaker feels like

These feel so much better on foot than all these Nike/Jordan (hyper-)fuse sneakers which don't really adapt to your feet.

It's actually good to hear that you feel they are a little roomy -- I've heard that from a couple other people.  When I was lucky enough to grab the Futurelegends from RISE, they only had an 11 available (I'm an 11/11.5 depending on the shoe).  The smaller size seems perfect since I have a narrow foot.  Still some nice wiggle room and the length is fine.  I can definitely see those with normal to wide feet going TTS and being perfect.  Really narrow footer may want the .5 down.  Curious to hear if anyone else went down a .5 in size

And I couldn't agree more.  Just a GREAT feel on foot.  Very natural and well-balanced.

I've been sticking to the Curry 1 lately as I've been enjoying those, but I've got another league coming up and I'll most definitely roll with the J.C II

Interesting on Weartesters, for Finishline they confirmed $140 and not just JC II but also JC III.

Ya I saw that too and I'm wondering if that's a mistake because the relapse the JC2 and the JC3 at the same time would be super bizarre and pretty stupid.

Nah - they are just already lined up for retail release with FNL. Showing the fact that they are in plans to distribute.

Got it. I noticed in the latest pic that BrandBlack posted on their Instagram the black/red colorway has a black sole and not a clear sole. I hope they stick with the black sole as the pair that's released.

I'm saving a reward for these as well.  I was hoping some UA Drive Lows would drop on FNL, but if they didn't, I was going to hold off for these.

What's the sizing consensus for the JC II?  Pretty much TTS or what?
