i also loved how when hank was showing the notes to him, it was a dark purplish setting. and when hank was on the john it was orangey brown setting. the way the colors mixed to show one was a flashback was real nice and it was crazy that they used the original colors from the scene and not making it darker just for the purpose of differentiating the flashback. not sure if they thought of this beforehand, but knowing what vince has been capable of, i wouldnt be surprised.

Everything about the last two scenes were perfect. From the small subtle sounds to us thinking something might happen to Holly when she is being pushed around Jr. by the pool. Very smart by Vince. The flashback was done perfectly with no kind of enhancement and filters or lame sound effects. The silence and the small ambient sounds leading up to it and after the flashback MAKE the scene. so awesome

that last episode you could see take a toll on Walt.  Managing his empire, cooking for hours and hours, meeting with Lydia, strapping stacks, he got no breaks.  Gus had people to do all that while he just sat back and reaped teh spoils (sure he did a lot, but none of the errand boy stuff).  Too bad W.W. won't ever reach that status.

What else is there for Walt to strive for though? He's gotten rid of all his competition and Declan and his gang from Arizona seem like lightweights. Walt wants respect and recognition on top of the money and when you don't have anymore rivals, it just becomes too easy eventually.

Just rewatched this weeks episode, and in the first scene when Walt and Lydia meet up and noticed he brought ricin to kill lydia, until she brought something to the table (Czech republic) damb walt.

I think once Skyler showed Walt all that untouched money in the storage, Walt realized that being better than Gray Matter was less important than having his family back.

BTW, did Walt know Hank was going to the bathroom? He should probably realize Hank saw the book. I hope they don't make it seem like only Hank knows. I wanna see them two play chess on an even playing field.

I'm telling yall once Walt finds out Hank has his eye on him and suspects him of all his crimes Walt is going to kill him with no conflicting thoughts unless Skyler finds out and questions him cuz only then would Hank's death mess things up irrevocably for Walt's family life.

To me Hank killed himself looking for reading material on the crapper.

But yeah Hank can definitely apply pressure and get enough evidence to arrest Walt, as already mentioned look in to Walt's alleged gambling addiction (casinos, race track, betting spots, his taxes), look in to the car wash (lets see how good Skyler really is at laundering money), look in to Skyler cheating on Walt with Ted (maybe Ted talks), question Jesse, question Saul (maybe tail him might find Walt).

As already said, Walt isn't a professional. I've been doing it since last season when Walt got in league with Gus, just play this little game of what excuse Walt could make if Hank ran in to him while he was meeting with Jesse, Gus, Lydia, Mike, Saul, Victor, etc. especially in certain locations they meet at. I just be thinking what if Hank just strolled in to a spot and Walt is there mid discussion with someone that could implicate him? It'd be a wrap for Walt cuz he really isn't great at lying on the spot.

I cant remember if the CAT scan scene was before or after Skyler showed Walt the money, but I have a feeling that the cancer is back - and it's terminal. I don't think seeing the money was what resonated with Walt.

His greed had taken precedence over his love of his family. The greed was Heisenberg. Now, if I'm right about the cancer being back/terminal, the final 8 episodes will be about his transformation back to Walt.

I think Hank cares too much about his image to make a move on Walt. Remember back with that El Paso/Cartel business he was struggling on how he wanted to be viewed by his family/coworkers. By making a move on Walt he basically admits that the kingpin he was looking for all along was right under his nose.
