Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

Glad there's at least one mature person in here that see things from a different perspective

Lying is pretty cut and dry to females. You could be lying about cooking meth or railing hookers.

The fact is that the trust was broken and females react irrationally when that happens. You almost have to give skylar credit for being somewhat low key and keeping it together.

The average female, at least the ones ive had relationships with, after finding out about the 2nd cell phone and the non trip to visit his mom, would have gone berserk and ruined the whole operation. Not to mention instigating a fight and Walt sitting in a jail cell.

As much as I hate it, I really know some women who will react the way she did.

Most women will put their kids first and thats all they are looking at..

Still its a show and we all are allowed to hate her

Yea I used to dislike Skylar but she just playing the hand she's been dealt. Walt is now El Chapo, she married a chemistry teacher and was planning on raising a regular family. A telling scene is the Grey Matter situation where Walt could've went legit, Skylar set that alley oop up and his pride wouldn't let him. He's still living out his dream of being the great scientist/entrepreneur that he was going to be at Grey Matter except his vision is perverted.

Skylar cares more about protecting their family and livelihood than Walt has in a while. Remember the storage shed, how much is enough? Where the show is now is all a result of Walt's insecurities about never using his great talents at the highest level and not being in control of his own life. His relationship with Gus illustrates it as well. He was envious of Gus for his ability to run his enterprise with an iron fist and fear no one, he was everything Walt wished he could be.

Walt hasn't been risking his life for his children and Skyler for awhile.. it's been all about Walt and his ego for a few seasons.

He's not a saint. While his original desire was obviously to help his family after his death, it was also in large part because he felt so weak and powerless in his life (which some can blame on Skyler) but it also has to do with Walt giving up on his business with his old partners and his general attitude towards his life.

Walt's original intentions were in the right place, but he never considered the immense danger he'd be putting his family in while making meth and no one seems to care about that when the topic of "Skyler is evil" comes up. Walt keeping it a secret, which of course he had to do, lead to a lot of problems.

It's not meant to be cut and dry, black and white, Skylar is the worst and Walt is the greatest. Too many people ignore any grey area in their relationship.

Skyler reacts how A LOT of married women in that situation would... which is the point of her character.

I understand all that but she should have never cheated on Walt. Especially in the fashion that she did it in. She did it out of spite. :{ What was the rational? I understand telling him to move out for the safety of everyone but don't cheat you cheating nasty unstable scoundrel. Then she has the nerve to try to keep Walt from seeing his brand new baby girl when he might die anytime from cancer? >:

I just remembered tho, Walt tried to get that principles yams too so he ain't any better. :lol

I forgot all about that. That principle was bad. :hat

Restarted the series few days back to get ready for the final 8...currently in the middle of s. 2 and I just texted my boy about how bad Carmen is :hat

I just finished re-watching a few days ago and I have came to the conclusion that... I have no definitive idea on how the show will end.
The only thing I am 30% sure of is that the M60 will be used for an epic shootout with the FBI or Dea.. Which seems obvious.

I am however pretty positive that Hank will have taken the longest **** ever. Dude gets off the pot, grabs Marie, appearing angry. Marie says something along the lines of " HAAaaaaAAnk we haven't even gotten to the dessert yet, whats the rush?" . You know, something really white-girlish.

Im leaning towards the m60 is to be used to kill jessie while in police custudy on the way to court to testify...

Just finished Half Measures...seen it three times now and I still get chills with the ending...these final 8 are gonna be something else...and I think Gus' south american ties are gonna come into play. So many ways this could end and like cityboy said I have no idea how

I have thought of this to. Maybe Gus had ties with crooked, yet powerful, Chilean government officials, and thats why Don Eladio didn't kill him?
Although it seems too late in the series to bring a new Gus story arc into the mix.

Yea, cuz I feel like they wouldn't just throw that in for no reason when Don Eladio said I won't kill you because of who you are so I feel like it could come back into the story line

I like the theory I heard that the gun is going to be used to save Jesse from the outfit they are making meth for.

700

"You've got the greatest meth cook in America...no, two greatest meth cooks in America right here."

Walt said he's done, but the outfit won't want that income to stop, so they snatch up Jesse because Walt's on the run.

Only critique of that theory is why would they snatch him and keep him in Albuquerque.
