Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

Yeah things usually gets beefy after the 4th episode. It's always been like that.

Just realized when walt gave the bag of cash Saul he said take what I owe you give Huell and Kuby their cut... and the save the rest for insurance in case I need it...

.... Im really thinking burying all the cash in one place was a mistake

Walt dying would be wack
It would be wack from the our perspective because the majority of us want to see him get away with it. However, him living and getting away with it just leaves us with a cliffhanger and not a real definitive ending.

You have to take into account the common theme in the show that is "no half measures", which I'm sure the writers believe in completely as they write the script. Ending with him escaping would be a half measure on their part because it doesn't close up the loose-ends of the story.

If that's the case, Walt, Skyler, and Hank have to die

The Whole Cast Of ‘Breaking Bad’ Has Been Offered Free Trips To Belize (The Good Kind)
WRITTEN BY DANGER GUERRERO

One of the highlights of this Sunday’s Breaking Bad was the tense, hilarious scene between Walt and Saul where they discussed their newfound Hank problem, and what they were going to do about it, which culminated in Saul suggesting that Walt “send him to Belize” to be with Mike. This brings us to two important points: 1) They get AMC in Belize; and 2) Belize is cool as sh*t.

Following Sunday’s episode, the Belize Tourism Board used its Twitter account to post humorous invitations to the “Breaking Bad” actors and characters, asking them to check out the country.

Now it has extended offers to Mr. Gilligan and his cast for each of them to enjoy a four-day, three-night stay in Belize, including airfare, hotel, meals and other activities.

“Many of us are big fans of the show and can’t wait to see what happens over the last six episodes,” the tourism board wrote in its invitation. “While we hope that some of our favorite characters don’t get ‘sent on a trip to Belize’ in the show, we do hope you will take us up on the following offer – we’d like to send all of you on an ACTUAL trip to our country after the season is over. [NY Times]

Wow, I love this story. Almost as much as I love watching BLU-RAY DVDS OF QUALITY SHOWS LIKE BREAKING BAD AND ARCHER while eating A DELICIOUS MEAL FROM POPEYE’S (“LOUISIANA FAST”) and washing it all down with a smooth glass of MAKER’S MARK BOOKER’S PAPPY VAN WINKLE 15 23-YEAR-OLD BOURBON. In fact, the only thing that could make it better would be reading about it on A BRAND NEW MACBOOK that was delivered to my apartment by VIN DIESEL AND PAUL WALKER right before the three of us took our own ALL EXPENSES PAID LUXURY GETAWAY TO BELIZE.

There. That oughta do it.

I don't remember from watching the past 2 episodes but the real question is......................

Is Walt still rocking the classic Clarks Wallabees? I'm assuming sometime into his transformation he ditched them for something else.. 8o

Apparently, at least according to this article and BB's costume designer, he's still wearing them..(as of 2012)

http://www.vulture.com/2012/08/breaking-bad-costumer-interview.html
And the Wallabee boots are something that the character has had since the beginning.
Oh yeah, those Clarks, they have been basically the only shoe he wears, unless there's a particular reason — like in the magnet episode, then I put him in all black with a black shoe. But Walt wears those Wallabees 24/7. So what I did is, now he has his shoe in three different colors. [Laughs.]

Anyways, all the theories that are out there, I love the Walt pins everything on Hank angle. Really plausible idea.

Hank investigates the chemistry stuff missing, finds nothing.
Hank kills Tuco
Hank could have planted the bomb on the old man that kills Gus. (he'd just visited the office and shown Hank up)
Hank has Walt with him as he was investigating Gus.
Hank basically helps his own brother in law become the boss of all bosses with no one even looking his direction.

In the end, Hank is screwed, and the sound of the TV that Mike was listening to when it says "when cops kill themselves, people will start askin questions" runs thru his mind.

Hank takes his own life.

Love it. Freaking love it. Smart chess play by Walt, Hank is backed into the ultimate corner, the only way to escape and bring some heat on Walt is to swallow the barrel. Would be insane tv.
I think this is a good theory for what Walt will threaten Hank with, but I doubt that he will go through with it. It's obvious that Walt is in it for the prestige and legacy and not the money, and it would kill Walt to see Hank get all the credit for WW's work.

I also think that Walt cares for Hank too much to pin everything on him. The easiest thing for Heisenberg to do now is to give Hank a trip to Belize, but he shot down Saul's suggestion. Even though Hank and Walt are beefing, they are pretty much BFFs, in a twisted way.

I think it'll almost be forgotten in a way. Like after all the **** hits the fan anybody who would know about it is dead and at the very end we get like cold conclusion where somebody just stumbles across it and digs it up :lol

im disappointed in declan, i expected more

he was basically a prop to make todd look even more lethal
Think it makes Todd's uncle and his crew more lethal. Todd ain't that dangerous on his own... I think.
Todd seems the type to do the Gus box cutter slit your throat thing :lol

Damn so much complaining. Either the expectations are way too high or people can't enjoy a slower (I don't even find it slow) pace

Yeah, I don't know why people are expecting action-action-action when the show has never taken that kind of path. It's building up, each of these scenes are important in the lead up to the conclusion of the series.

This pace has followed the same formula as every season, I don't get how some people can be complaining.
