Bulls offseason Thread

It's gotta be the shoes. The new adimotion has zero cushion. I tried on the crazy quick, rose 773 2 and immediately give them back to the shoes saleman. Cushion feel like non existence. I can't imagine the toll on knee and back after running, cutting, dunking in the rose 4 for 30-35 minutes a game.

I never condone the whole its the shoe thing players in nike constantly go down as well, injuries occur but something has to give whether its the shoe or his personal training staff something might need to change. I been lobbying him to go to grover since the acl injury because hes not just a bball trainer, he a rehab specialist having all of that in one person is more valuable than you could imagine when coordinating workout.

I feel u G on Grover u know we speak about it. But it's clear and simple, that kid can't stay in the city for the summer.... It's too hot out here and in a bad way, plus hell just get caught up in being at Hearts & Lumen every week...

Well we all got choices, aint no secret grover be out in LA with kobe plenty, and for the season there should be no problem going to grover.

Damn not good news. Rose tore his medial meniscus which needs surgery.

Would really like to know the extent and type of tear.

Official word from Bulls is that DRose is out "indefinitely" but vibe is they're indeed bracing for prospect he misses rest of '13-14 season

same here guys, though im a lakers fan, but being from Chicago bulls are always have something special for me, I was so excited to see rose back play and ready for him to take away that MVP from LeBron, but this is sad news :{ this whole city sad

speedy recovery for drose

Guys, I know that I'm not one of you, but my thoughts are with Rose. Prayin for the best for him, maybe its a slight tear and he recovers fully, and quickly. The NBA isn't the same without him. :{

Y'all keep your heads up.

The results of the MRI are best possible news, considering it couldve been worse. He'll be out 2-3 months IMO

I think Chicago should cut their losses and trade or release him. He's damaged goods. How long are the Bulls going to rely on Boozer? They need to rebuild, its sounds coldblooded but the NBA is a business.

As sad as this is, we have to recognize the positive that it could have been worse. His career does not appear to be at risk. At best, he misses a couple of months and returns before the season is over and at worse, he comes back next year. I'm hopeful of his long-term prospects and that this is not the start of an injury plagued career. As fans, we have to remain supportive of him and this team. One thing we know for sure of Derrick is he is relentless and will undoubtedly work tirelessly to return again at full strength. Keep the faith, fellow Bulls fans.

They're not gonna do any of that.

I mean why not? Is it really that far fetched? I could see how the loyal fans would be upset. They love DRose. He was a really good player. But you have to look at the roster and draft. There's no loyality in the NBA between the organization and players. You can't hold the many Bulls' fan hope hostage because he might return. In the longrun I don't see Rose being the same player. So why not re-build?

I don't think he'll ever be the same you guys do realize this is second no contact injury that has required surgery.
