I'm going to Montreal & Toronto for 9 days in April. I will be staying downtown in both cities.
What places should i hit up?

where should i eat?

is Niagara Falls an overnight or day trip?

Some info

- I'm 25

- I'm coming with my girl.

- I've been to Vancouver / Canada 10 + times

- I've never been to these cities

Fri 13th - Mon 16th - Montreal

Mon 16th - Sat 21st - Toronto

I want to hit a Raptors + Blue jays game.

Niagara Falls you could do in a day. Falls are nice; casinos if you're into gambling. But I don't think it's worth staying there, and it's only a couple hours away from Toronto.

Re: Toronto Eats

There's an older thread with some suggestions. I suggest peeping Toronto.com or blogto to get a sense of the eats/bars. Depending on what you what/like, all the hipsterish bars are near Ossington/Dundas. Great restaurants/bars all over the place, but I'm biased to the downtown area - basically south of Bloor from Yonge to Lansdowne (and even that's a li'l west).

Peep the Raptors/Blue Jays schedules to see if any games are happening. If so, buying tix off ticketmaster is probably the easiest/most legit way. Try craigslist or whatever if you like, though...

Toronto shopping spots – try Queen West from University all the way to Bathurst. All kinds of places there. Not a lot of sneaker places left, though. Really only Livestock (on Spadina – peep their website for details).

For Montreal. It will be chilly still. However, I recommend talking a walk around old Montreal (Old Port). There's plenty of nice restaurants in that area.

Try hitting The Main (St. Laurent street) and try out Schwartz's http://www.schwartzsdeli.com. Suppose to be the best smoke meat in Canada.

Oh, as for tickets to see the Raptors/Blue Jays in Toronto. Contact Cory: [email protected] He works at the Air Canada Center and give great pricing. Just mention Ed from Montreal refer you.

toronto - check out caplanskys (its similar to schwartz in montreal which edmtl mentioned) its at the corner of college street and brunswick avenue. def check out some games too.

Niagara Falls
You can do Niagara Falls in a day.
Hit up the Casino for a bit, see thee falls.
No need to stay overnight IMO.
You can do some outlet shopping in Buffalo

Montreal
Restaurant L'Avenue in Montreal for a Eggs Benedict. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
Eat a poutine - Patati Patata
http://www.montrealpoutine.com/reviews.html
Schwartz Smoked Meat
Montreal Bagels
Clubs
Old Montreal

Toronto
Real Sports Bar at Union Station, voted best sports bar in North America by ESPN. Might need reservation, call ahead
King/Queen west for clubbing is better for your age range, but richmond/adelaide is ok if you never been before.
Eaton Centre Bloor/Dundas square
Guu Izakaya
Salad King for Thai
CN Tower Sky Walk? Like 150 a head i heard

Not too sure what you mean.  Best is to email my guy, Cory.  Just mention Ed from Mtl on the Audizine forum sent you.  I got seats for the Bobcats, behind the basket Section 102, row D and Heat, Section 102, row 4.
