I'm trying to decide which one to get.. I will be using this camera mostly for taking pics of kicks. Do I need to buy the extra lenses or should I be finewith the lenses that comes with the camera? Are the lenses really for zooming in on far objects?

You'll be good with the kit lens from either camera. They both come with a 18-55mm. gives you good wide angle, and also decent zoom.
