I loved the Flip III’s except that leather interior. It made the shoe hotter ventilation wise and was uncomfortable.

When the heat made the finals with Shaq it was the only time Wade was only the best player on his team that played for a ring .

At least Kobe went 3 times after Shaq and Drexler took Portland to the finals twice

D. Wade is def a top 5 SG.

His rookie season was exceptional. He led the Heat to the 2nd Round. Mind you the Heat started 0-7 at the beginning of the 03-04 season.

Thanks to the greatness of Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, there was silly narrative for a small stretch that a 6’4 SG was considered “small” despite Joe Dumars and Hersey Hawkins (both 6’3) holding their own, Allen Iverson, and David Wesley playing effective as undersized 2-Guards.

Once they moved D. Wade to SG and Eddie Jones to SF, we got to see his full cache.

And I hate the narrative that D. Wade decayed upon LeBron james’ arrival. He would’ve won finals MVP if LBJ had not **** the bed.
