Kinda....but not quite. He is indeed James Lavelle as SenorDragon pointed out, and one of the co-founders of UNKLE (which is a group/collective NOT 1 person)Also he is the founder of the MoWax label.
I've always had the idea he was more involved in the business aspect and Shadow was more about the music, but I could be wrong.
