in light of an earlier thread about how a history major is useless, i wanted to point out why people still go for it.
it is interesting, sad, intriguing, IMPORTANT, and so much more to know what the world has been through.
i want to start a little game. a history game . world history.
this could fail if the wrong people come in, but just give it a try.
think of an event. (big or small) find out the date, then state how you wish it would have turned out and why
(this could get complicated)
ill start
1933: Albert Einstein visits america...and ends up staying (same year Hitler gains power)
i wish he stayed in germany.
maybe him staying in germany would have prevented the bombing of H/N.
will elaborate if needed.
