Changing lanes and not hitting the bumps Apprec

Today, I was driving on the freeway and changed lanes without hitting the bumps that divide them. You know the ones that keep you awake..What do they callthem anyway?

It's strange because you come to expect that noise everytime...Hey let me have my moment..

cause the ridges that make that irritating noise are only on both shoulders of the road.

Yea...i'm confused too. The only thing on the road i know about is the reflector things.
