The LBGTQ community still doesn't have blanket Civil Rights protections.
That means in some states, unless their is a state or city law, someone could fire someone just for being gay, or not rent to them just because they are gay. If they want recourse they will have to sue, and pray to baby Jesus they get the right judge.
Damb
Cats still on hating on gay dudes?
Is that going to be changed soon? Or in works of changing it?
You shouldn't fire folks cuz they're gay.
That's just lame.
I've never had negative views about homosexuality, but as a male nurse I've worked with a number of gay men and got the opportunity to learn more about the extent of the struggles they face. Prior to that I hadn't really had extensive contact with gays. Experiences can also vary greatly depending on the environment. My highschool was quite progressive and the openly gay kids were fairly popular, both with men and women. However in another school in the same area, a guy committed suicide because he was relentlessly bullied for being gay.I always want to know why some heterosexual men feel the need to champion super hard for homosexuality.
Like they fight hard for it. Do you see it as a cause you are trying to support? Or do you have friends? Or do you really see an injustice?
At this stage in 2016 I see 0 obstacles in a homosexuals life and not sure what we need to keep fighting for their rights for. It's almost like a trend.
Or a convenient 2016 super liberal package that's sold in stores that all these guys follow and have the same opinions and be this super open intellectual...
Why can't everyone just live?

Famb had opinion, got put onto new info, then updated his opinion instead of diggin in his heels.
Maybe instead of laughing at dude condescendingly, we commend him for that

I'm sorry dad
Yea that social justice warrior TREND. Racism was so a thing of the past, it's almost like a fad now. #BLM always crying racism, it's the year 2000 everybody is on equal footing. Am I right? #GOTRUMP
You use one word wrong once, and this is what happenBut my question is why do we semi shame people for saying they wouldn't want/allow their sons to wear a dress? ( irregardless ( @AZwildcats ) of WHY they wouldn't want them to do so)I agree with that because a few members have expressed that exact sentiment
But there are also people who I believe wouldn't want their son in a dress because they think it will "turn" their child gay. That could be just because of the optics and how they think it reflects on them as a parent, or it could be that they just don't like gay people
Start the trend Big Waters.........
I just don't understand what is wrong with a male wearing a dress. Articles of clothing have no gender.
If you really think about it, why don't men wear dresses???
More info on black/latino privilege?
Did you watch the olympics? I mean are white people really that slow.
lmao calm down bruh im pretty sure he was being sarcastic. So god given athletic ability is a privilege now?
Men do wear gowns and dresses in many cultures. And honestly "pants" are a relatively modern and very western article of clothing. I mean we have no problem today with women wearing pants but misogynistic, homophobic NT type insecure dudes were panicking in the 40s and 50s cause they thought if women started wearing pants men will lose their power.

A lot of parallels here......
no im just saying you know you would never wear a dress and you know exactly why...and a kilt isn't a dress. smh
So if I wouldn't put on a dress, that somehow gives me the right to shame someone else for having the balls to?

neek changed the game.if you asked me 20 years ago if i would wear skinny jeans, i woulda probably said something along the lines of "$#% no, that %$# is gay"
