Thought I would ask the area that is home of the foamposites, this one. Well, I'm trying to find an alternative to sea glow and retr0bright, first off. Another thing I wanted to ask is, how can I go about dying my foamposite soles. Got a pair of royal blue foams that I want the soles to be black. I was thinking about mixing 1oz. of sea glow, powder black dye (RIT), and liquid dye. Do 1 coat, let it dry, then apply another coat. Any suggestions??

There's a rit dye as well that you purchase at an arts and crafts store like Michaels that you're supposed to mix with the seaglow/retrobright to make it "stick"

Sea Glow, by Island Girl.

I've used it several times.

Be aware, that for best results, it takes several applications...it's a process.
