Hard team to beat when the core drops 20pts each.

Let's get it, good win last night, let's beat the bulls in the first primetime Saturday game on ABC.

Someone needs to explain to me if it was Lebron or Blatts idea to use Kevin KEvin Love like poor mans Channing Frye

also

What was Tyrone Lue primary qualifications, before he got hired? He was the architect of the LA CLIPPERS DEFENSE and LeBron likes him. Why not make him the interim so he can actually prove he can do this?

Lebron likes him....that's all he needed was that one endorsement.

Wait, what? Lost in the Finals, just got healthy, leading the conference and the coach got fired? That's crazy.

smh.

i was never a fan of blatt, but def not a fan of firing him for lue

hope he uses some triangle principles in the offense moving fwd

Aren't we still paying Mike Brown too?

Going to be paying 3 coaches...

Thibs was logical but I was holding out hope on Mark Jackson. :lol

While I think Lue is great for what he is (young former player getting an opportunity) it feels like Lebron is officially telling the world I'm the coach now. :lol

You Cavs fans should at the least be happy. Team seemed miserable out there. Maybe resigned to their fate of not beating the top west teams? Who knows. But this will definitely be a jolt of energy for them.

These Kevin Love trade proposals are getting very very very nice. Trade deadline is gonna be hot fiyah hopefully for a bunch of teams.

Stop with the love trade talk

He's already gone breh. Just waiting on the breaking news tagline........................

Am not that shocked. I think the management wants the nba title asap and Blatt seems not to have that ability to coach the cavs to make them mentally strong enough to beat teams like warriors or spurs at all.
They have enough Talent but the roster Rotation is questionable and the defense quality is totally inconsistent. I think the huge loss against the warriors in Cleveland was the ignition of something that was already in the air for a while.

seems like it was in good reason tho.

During the first portion of the 2014-15 season, film sessions were a topic of discussion among the players. Blatt was reluctant to criticize star players even when they clearly messed up a play. This became routine. It got so bad that I'm told that Lue finally intervened, stood up and demanded that somebody rewind the footage so that he could get on members of The Big 3.

During team scrimmages, players competed aggressively but bit their tongues as Blatt frequently blew his whistle to call ticky-tack or phantom fouls for his go-to players. One player said sometimes Blatt didn't even have a whistle and would yell at the top of his lungs to stop play and call a foul if one of his stars acted as if he was hit.

It was viewed as a blatant attempt to get in the good graces of his top talent. Blatt's leadership was in question. Players grew tired of this treatment. The locker room started resenting Blatt's handling, or lack thereof, when it came to dealing with his stars.

Word circulated to cleveland.com that Blatt had trouble drawing up plays out of timeouts. He would freeze up and waste precious seconds, one player said. He would even draw up plays for players who weren't in the game, another player said.

In the closeout game of the Eastern Conference Finals, a game the Cavaliers trounced the Atlanta Hawks by 30 to sweep the series; Blatt had signaled for Tristan Thompson to reenter in the closing minutes with the game already wrapped up. This was when Thompson was the team's most valuable big man with Kevin Love out of commission with a dislocated shoulder.

The bench couldn't believe it. They were shocked, as was Thompson, who never questions authority. LeBron James told Blatt to put somebody else in the game, out of concern a key cog might get hurt before The Finals, a league source said. Kendrick Perkins got the nod, and a few minutes later, Brendan Haywood's number was called to finish it out.

BINGO ! was hoping someone would mention the rotations. all of us here had to sit at times and say "WTF is he doing", seriously . from what ive read it is one of the biggest reasons for the change. and if uve peeped what b hayward has been saying, this move HAD TO be made. no control of locker room = disaster no matter how much talent is on the team

per sbnation, the team thought they were meeting to announce a k love trade :lol

jason lloyd reported "it was evident what the PLAYERS wanted, and that was getting rid of blatt", take it fwiw as always

if its true that all the vets had ZERO CONFIDENCE in him i think that says alot, HE WAS brough in to coach this team without lebron, whole landscaped changed with the return. and honestly imho as soon as the return was annoinced, THATS THE DAY mr blatts job was gone.

i was hoping for mr mark jackson too, i cant lie, he has the experience , and it woulda been a helluva story IF..... well y'all already know ;)

IMHO Coach Lue will do a GREAT job, of course there will be bumps, but he has half a season to figure it all out. HE WILL BE COACHING ALL STAR TEAM FROM WHAT IVE READ

even AI congratulated him :D
