If you didn't put racist in the thread title I wouldn't even know where to go what to think about that tweet. We get that bleaching something will wash out the color but that's to that pale albino white appearance.
Bleaching your skin isn't inherently racist unless I'm unaware of a string of attacks on ppl of color where they were bleached without consent. If someone is bleaching their own skin unnecessarily that's more about self hatred.
Plus this is about emoticons. I guess they trying to reach to connect to all of those multicolored ones that was for some reason news worthy.
