The more I read on AEG... I have a feeling they might be part of ownership as well....

Interesting connection that has nothing to do with anything: AEG currently runs KeyArena. Also, AEG's CEO (Tim Leiweke) is the brother of the former Seahawks and Sounders CEO (Tod Leiweke). Basically, he was Paul Allen's go-to guy (he even filled in as Blazers president for a bit).

I've read that connection too... maybe it'd be in AEG's best interest to expand into Sac/Norcal?? I really don't know

does this only happen if they own the stadium and whatever they build around it? think staples center and LA live type of thing. because thats how AEG does things just look around at all the stadiums and teams they own. im pretty sure they only want part ownership if they build and own the stadium for the kings.

AEG is up for sale and will put over a billion dollars up for everything about the LA stadium Deal. i dont see how they put up X amount of money for the kings.

I believe AEG's share in Sac would only be around 100-150 mil. They split the 400-450 about evenly between the 3 parties. They wouldn't own it but they would be the operator.

But ya I was completely reaching on AEG owning the kings

^Good game bub. One of those rare games where the Kings stayed in the game and slowly got back into it and got the W

Any win is a good win for the Kings. It was nice to see Tyreke the layup master playin more like himself and great game by DMC except for that turnover towards the end

Someone on StR compared Napear to Snape from Harry Potter.

For far too long, Peaches has been defending the Maloofs. Now that he knows the Maloofs are on the way out, dude is finally showing his true Sacramento colors and supporting the cause, and I'm loving it

Mayor Kevin Johnson spoke for nearly 8-minutes on future of Kings. Here's the entire raw interview, only on News10on.news10.net/1002Hia

God I love KJ. No matter what happens, he is the man.

Greatest. Mayor. Ever.

And I've noticed that about Napear also. It's like once he heard the team was for sale he's been slowly letting out everything we all know and he's being the public voice getting our thoughts out for us over the airwaves little by little. Appreciated.
