I think you should stay in Baruch for undergrad. Its a very good Business school. If you want to go to NYU, you should go there for grad school. I mean if youwant to apply there for undergrad, go ahead but as stated before, I don't think it will give you a leg up with finding a better job when you graduate. Likeothers have stated, focus on getting valuable experience through internships. In addition to that, focus on Networking and join clubs/organizations at BaruchASAP. You will be able to build a strong resume and improve your chances of landing a good job if you have great extra curricular activities, especially if itis related to your major (i.e. treasurer of a club).
