I know theres still a few other than the Conference title games, but why not...

and why didn't we have these like the NFL threads
nerd.gif

- Dissapointments....Louisville, Florida State (for all the hires and hype that came along), Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska, UCLA...after the start, Kentucky.Okie State

- Improvements, pleasent surprises - Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, Virginia.

- The more I saw Andre Woodson toward the end of the year...the less impressed I've become

- How Dorrell is only gona end up winning 6 with that D comin back, who knows

- You want no part of Florida and Georgia next season...and in the Big 10 you don't want Illinois

- DMac, Tebow...
eek.gif

- Where did KP and Campbell go on that Miami D
nerd.gif

- Charlie Weis, in a word...joke

- Funny how Tenn and Cal turned out this year after that beatdown
laugh.gif

- Where has the Jake Locker and UW hype gone to?

- Notre Dame against the Pac 10...2-1

- If you really watched games this year and didn't come away with the thought of the SEC being hands down the best conference..I don't know what totell you...and I'm far from an SEC supporter.

Lastly my half put together AA team

QB - Tebow
RB - DMac
WR- Percy Harvin
WR- Aaron Kelly
TE- Martin Rucker
OL- Jake Long, Clady

DE - Chris Long
DE- Gholston
DT - Glenn Dorsey
DT- Trevor Laws (homer maybe, but dude was unreal)
LB- Ali Highsmith
LB- Laurinaitis
LB- Connor
DB- Talib
DB- Jenkins
DB- Cason

percy harvin is not an all-american WR... get that thought out of ya mind... off tha top of my head heres a few better WRs
Michael Crabtree
Jeremy Maclin
Malcolm Kelly
Early Doucet

  • Remember when the Pac-10 was supposed to be better than the SEC?
    roll.gif
    roll.gif
  • ND is gonna be sick next year
    pimp.gif
  • Trevor Laws is RIDICULOUS

Crabtree isn't a product of the system???....he's been great...but falls in the same boat as the Hawaii WR's..who also are talented

Harvin - almost 800 yards receiving, 600 on the ground..and you could see his impact when not out there...He belongs somehwere..even if he's not thetraditional WR.

Doucet...when you don't play for 5 weeks straight, I can't put you on

Maclin is deserving...I'd take Harvin over Kelly

Mario...Wisconsin game on the sidelines is a reason.

You could go a few different ways with the wideouts

For arguments sakes..if I made it 5 WR's

Maclin, Crabtree and Mario

If there is a AA list does that NOT include

Colt Brennan
Davonne Bess
Ryan Grice Mullen
Jason Rivers...

It is not right..

+%*# "system"

That's why no one did these after every week, so every nut sack homer could come in the thread typin some straight up idiotic +%$$ just like that

I'd put Fred Davis and Sedrick Ellis on that list, Davis has been USC's most dependable receiver the whole year and Ellis has been a force in everygame this year

well if i had to say how i feel about the season at this point:

So disappointed in Michigan

Carr u will be missed

Tebow is amazing

Dmac is the Heisman hands down

Miss state doing it for the coach

Nebraska...............

I love watch Hawaii play there WR are fire

As much as i hate to admit it Tennessee is a good football team

So Disappointed in the whole Big ten

Im not impressed with Andre Woodson. Hes good dont get me wrong

I cant watch a WVU and Mizzoui NC

Dennis Dixon went out and beat 52 man teams by himself it seems, STILL gets my vote for heisman.

No love for Beanie Wells?

Kansas, Missou, Kentucky? Thought this was football...

Nebraska, Michigan, Notre Dame? Thought this was football...

Ohio State should get more respect than they got/getting this year

I dont know how you cant be impressed w/ Woodson. He played like a champ pretty much all yr. i.e. Florida

. They lost but his numbers were on point. If they had a consistent back to helphim out..

and don't listen to anyone saying Manningham should be first-team AA, how many passes did that bum drop in the biggest game of their season
dropped? Henne only had 68 yards passing and Manningham had 5 catches for 34 yards.

Surprise: MississiBoise losing to Hawaii and washington, Sean Glennon putting it together 2nd half of the yr

Job saving team of the yr - UVA bailed out Al Groh somethin Nice

Most Overated player in College Football; Myron Rolle FSU (what exactly does he do well? he's a safety right yet he doesnt make playson the football, and he doesnt punish Rbs, ahh I guess u get a pass when you were top 5 recruit in America
grin.gif
)

Most Bogus NCAA post season award - The Thorpe award, How is Alonso Smith not even a finalist, +%+! he should WIN it, He has played sickCB, 8 INTs 3 for TDs and 2 were game winners, Psssht

Remember when the Pac-10 was supposed to be better than the SEC?
A-lot of people still see it that way.

Personally: 1. SEC 2. Pac 10 .....

However, why does the SEC get more credit for beating each other up than any other conference?

I like Gunna's list better than the threadstarter, let's just say it is more "National" friendly instead of east coast biased.

I don't know who I would put on my AA list, since there is a lot of talent around the nation that I only watched highlights of. I watched a lot of games, but I still can't pick a list that will be un-biased.

^Gunna all bias aside. I really think you gotta put Malcolm Jenkins up there. Dude is a monster. If he hit the jugs he prolly woulda had 8 picks this yr.Lockdown + ballhawk. Who else you know slidin to safety when you go nickel? ..and be just as effective.

Laurinaitis is gettin love which is great but, if you watched the bucks play this yr, youd know Freeman beasted this yr.

^Hes lucky Homan got hurt, b/c he coulda lost his starting spot earlier this yr. He got off slow.

As gifted as Pat, Slaton, No', Jock, etc. are, Owen Schmitt and WVU's offensive line (Ryan Stanchek specifically) had better get some All-Americanrecognition.

Here's my AA First Team

QB - Tim Tebow, FL
RB - Darren McFadden, Ark
FB - Owen Schmidt, WVU
WR - Michael Crabtree, TT
WR - Mario Manningham, Mich
TE - Fred Davis, USC
KR - Felix Jones, Ark
PR - DeSean Jackson, Cal

DE - Chris Long, UVA
DE - Vernon Gholston, OSU
DT - Glenn Dorsey, LSU
DT - Sedrick Ellis, USC
LB - Dan Connor, PSU
LB - James Laurinaitis, OSU
LB - Jordon Dizon Colorado
CB - Antoine Cason, UA
CB - Malcolm Jenkins, OSU
S - Craig Steltz, LSU
S - Eric Berry, UT
