A lot from eBay, a few pair from TPT, and then a lot from just meeting other collectors throughout the years, including from this thread.
School surplus sales are also a good way and usually cheap, if you can actually go yourself - other wise you have to pay huge mark-ups, like $20 surplus shorts for $100+.
