Color of my daughters eyes

Random thread but wanted to see your guys opinions. Crazy because both me and my wife have brown eyes, our oldest son has hazel eyes and now this is the current color of our 18month twin daughters.. They were really blue up until age 1 but they've changed to this.. Like an olive green color.. Just strange I've never seen anyone with this color before...no filters on the pic

yea they are an odd color, in a good way.. we were hoping the blue would stay as they had it up until 1 but there were brownish green marks throughout and then over the next few months they look like they do now

Yeah looks like an olive
Both my kids when they were born had grayish blue eyes(their mom has green)
But after a year or 2 they turned to green with like an orange tinge

I had a biology professor who said that green eyes are like a genetic mutation of brown eyes thats why theyre so rare 

Dont quote me on that but i think its something along those lines.
