Because he is impatient and its a competition at school about who has what... Remember when u were that age? Cause i do and when i was 13 i had fire red 5's

You cannot be serious. Impatient? I‘m not the type to tell you how you should raise your kid, but I would not spoil my kid like that. Mental issues and completition anxiety will set in for him.

Stop with the duck crap tales though. Lie over lie. It doesn‘t make any sense.

What? You must not have kids. It's normal for a parent to want to spoil their kid, and there's nothing wrong with that. Most good parent want to give their kids a better life then they had, so it's hard not to spoil. To say it will lead to Mental issues and anxiety is one of the most reduckulus things I've ever read on NT.

Anyway this thread needs to get back on track. Or I'm going to start deleting posts and banning people from the thread.

It would be normal, but not in this context. Not in the context because I find it ridiculously hard to believe. I voiced my 2 cents on the pair. I did not intend to sling mud, but I just do not believe one bit about him using his kid as a reason for any of his explanations. Trying to say he bought it for his kid, and then saying he bought it early because his kid wanted it, and then using his kid paying MOST of it to justify XYZ is just baloney to me.

Yes, I agree parents wanting more for their kids, but not this way. Buying a PARTICULAR pair early with out regards because son was impatient? Come on now. Like I said, if you acknowledge yourself spoiling your kid and find it okay with out recourse, then that‘s you. But I will respect the purpose of this thread and leave it at that.

You do you.

180+ FOR A SHOE THAT WAS 115 BACK IN 1999… FOH… IDC WHAT THEY REMASTERED IT DOESNT ADD UP… 150 WOULD HAVE SUFFICED..BUT 180+ IS RIDICULOUS …THATS MORE THAN RETAIL 13-16'S WHEN THEY FIRST RELEASED AS OG'S… :{

Did anybody take economics in college? It's fairly simple market and demand. if the shoe was 115 in 1999 why the hell would it be the same in 2015, then you look at market demand for higher quality it makes sense.

Fixed that for you.

The price increase is tough, but there are ways to get cashback and stuff nowadays that probably didn't exist before. Discover credit card gives you 10% cashback when you shop online at Nike.com through their portal. Also, Finishline and other companies give you rewards for shopping at their stores like $20 back for every $200 you spend.

I know it doesn't cover ALL of the price increase, but hey, every little bit helps.

the increase is fine by me. if $20 more is too much for some shoes that are already close to $200, you need to find a new brand lol

Im with you on that.  From the pics we seen, Im willing to give them an extra $20.  like everyone else, Id prefer they didn't raise the price, but it is what it is.

Ok to make everyone happy.., i filed with paypal to get a refund... The bootleggers must be doing well cause they just seemed legit to me..

-done with this thread
Good for you.All the guys that told you that they're fake have actually tried to help you. As for the bootleggers that "are doing well", you bet... And Nike has definitely helped them "accomplishing" that with its lame quality...

Then I'd suggest that you start teaching him "the art of patience". You see patience has "won" wars, big fortunes and beautiful women I might add...

Besides, January is not that far away.

As for the Columbias, a very easy pass for me. With all due respect to those who actually like them, I never liked them at all... Personally I'll just wait for the Black/Cement and White/Black retro IVs to be released (IF they are indeed released) and if the quality isn't there (yet again...) then damn it, I'll just take a few deadstock 99s out of my collection start doing some midsole swaps and never look back again.

Would love black cements, but haven't heard anything about them dropping

Nike isn't even on discover anymore sadly =\

Finishline is probably the only company that will credit jordan purchases with cashback.  They probably have the best rewards program hands down as you can use it on anything online and in store.
