yup..it's only gonna be used for internet and music..maybe some movies...i plan on using linux ubuntu btw

Sorry that build is horrible. You're paying 57 dollars for a celeron when you can get an e2160 for 20 dollars more. Whats your budget?

Dont do the celeron, you can find a better processor+mobo with a good built in graphics card. And you're buying alot of oem stuff, got the cables?

careful, your motherboard is a micro and your case is a mid atx. dump the video card and find a regular mobo with onboard audio and video. and definetly dumpthe celeron, get a core 2 atleast

You only have one IDE channel on the mobo it looks like. Everything else is SATA. Get your SATA cables, your power cable, thermal paste, if you go with adifferent proc/mobo be sure it has a heatsink/fan. Then you have your screws. Keyboard/mouse? Whenever I've made a build in the past I always try and pickup a new keyboard and mouse to complete the 'new' computer experience. Kinda ruins it when you're typing on the same old mucked up keyboard and theweathered mouse.
Also, I thought mid towers were able to fit micro boards in it? They don't have two sets of holes to accompany both sizes?

alright what about this

If you go with that build above you're missing a cpu cooler. The processor is processor ONLY. I suggest you save up...with this budget you're not gonnaget anything worthwhile.

yea i purchased one a lil while ago..i dont need anything superb, just something to web browse with..

Hmmm...is your cpu cooler for lga 775 (intel) or am2 (amd)? There are differences.
Anyways, I would prefer to go with intel but since thats kinda out of your budget, we'll go AMD.

Since you're not running video cards, you don't need that great of a power supply. But since this ones cheap...the heck with it.

That totals to 273 (rebates included, shipping not included) You might want to get some extra fans for the case or perhaps upgrade it...case doesn't lookparticularly efficient. Or you could get a video card if you want to exceed your budget just a little bit.

This would do quite well.

These parts are all fairly well rated...good luck on your computer!
