Computer Heads: Need new laptop

Not a computer expert, but I was looking at an Acer TimelineX.  They come in 13.3", 14", 15" models and seem to have the latest technology (intel's new processor).  They, however, are all $700.

If he can, I'd buy online and not from a major store in order to save sales tax.  More than likely, they will over free shipping as well.  I'd also use the Bing Cashback if possible; ends at the end of the month though.

EDIT: This is a random ad I just saw: http://h71016.www7.hp.com/html/cdg/...m:_N5823.NBReview_50631657_226847750_37351328
