One of my boys from high school was telling me about his good friend that does hand drawn custom designs on NewEra hats, so of course I had to check it out.. Dude is seriously talented and I eventually decided to get one. Couldn't be happier with his design and the way it turned out!! Checked out his site, he's a very talented artist, but I'd have to agree with some of the opinions above, some of the artwork cheapens the look of the hat.

I see where most of you are coming from. I agree that a lot of hats look better/cleaner unaltered. I don't really think it makes the hat look like it's cheapened tho. I guess everyone has different styles and tastes. I really like the concept of originality and its uniqueness factor. I had a hard time sending him the hat cause I thought it looked so clean before he designed it, but I guess I just enjoy the fact that it's a one of a kind and no one else will ever have the same hat.

but to address what most people have suggested... I think the dude does all kinds of designs from hats, shirts, shoes, architectural designs, and I wouldn't be surprised if he designs tats too.
