So yes, it happens and yes it is comparable if you don't pay attention and are way too damn confident in what you are doing or talking about.
Talking like you know everything for sure and are confident what you are stating is true but then you post something and it is completely wrong and were proven wrong.
At the end of the day, "confusing" is still a mistake thus making it wrong. So you were technically wrong. You said you weren't wrong for confusing but yes, you are. Comparable to the big mistake or not, you were still wrong. You say one thing, someone proves it wasn;t correct means you're wrong, whether you confuse it or not but at some point, you were wrong.
