Avatar is fire. Dope effects, dope villain. Gamora, ripley, Letty :hat

Trash all over.

Especially with you leading with effects.

Dope villain?

Lets not pretend like "Gamora" as a blue alien was doing anything or "Ripley".

The story was grade A garbage.

How is JL in trouble?
Reshooting 3 and 2 months before a film release. I've heard of 6 to 7 months before, but this is too late in the process. They should be dealing with post production and prepping for a promo run. It's not to believe it's a disaster, but that's not sounding good.

I still don't see how this is a bad thing. Rogue One underwent similar major reshoots and that movie still turned out great. If WB/DC is putting this much time and money into making the best possible film then how can one say that this movie is doomed? I think some of yall put too much stock into rumors.

Thor 3 finished 3 weeks of reshoot at the end of July and the movie comes out Nov 3, that is just about 3 months before release.

It's the norm but it will always be an issue with WB until they can consistently pump out good films like Marvel does.

With JL, there's some huge circumstantial situations where the director had to drop out and a brand new one is given reigns.

If it's a few weeks, cool. But these are extensive and costly reshoots. $25 million worth. They've been shooting since the last week of July. And yeah, if they had the track record, it wouldn't be concerning, but they don't, which is why that's not good news to me.

but if reports were to be believed, everyone's schedule is out of whack and they haven't really shot consecutively, it's a here and there whenever someone is free, it's not like everyone has been shooting for a month straight

Cavill is shooting Mission Impossible, Momoas working on Aquaman and not sure to what extent Ezras role is in FantasticBeast2 but that's filming right now too

getting those guys here and there and in spots cost plenty not to mention PSing Cavill superstache

Journalist Mark Hughes has a nice summation of the situation as it stands:

As of right now, despite the fact that there's been some extended time and it's like 'ok, if this is still ... why are they still doing shoots on this,' there's been a lot of downtime in between shooting because of people's schedules; they have not been shooting this entire time. The amount of content that has been shot and is being shot is still pretty much what they expected and figured was going to be happening. They haven't said 'oh, we need to add additional, we need to do a whole bunch more,' or anything like that at this point, so, the footage and the amount of footage in the film, as of right now, the majority of the footage that you're going to see on the screen is still the footage that was previously shot during principal photography.

The PS stache is still funny.

But it's the schedule, along with Joss having to tighten things up such as dialogue and they said sequences that need to link to what Snyder already had set up. I just hope he's had enough time to work everything out.

I think there are too much reports conflicting with each other, one second it's a major reshoot then it's minimal or the norm. Then it's a whole new vision with Whedon taking over then Snyders film is still intact.

I think we can just hope for the best and we'll find out in a few months.

Wonder Woman epilogue. Don't know how to embed.

“The war is over, but the good fight goes on. After the bombings in Liège along the western Belgian front, the powers at be found something,” she says. “It’s very old. It’s very powerful. They want us to recover the artifact and deliver it to the Americans. I mean, we don’t want it in the wrong hands, do we?”
