DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

^ I don't like that guy for the role either. Shazam isn't a frat boy. He's a kid in a grown man's body. Still think that Theler dude is perfect, but I doubt the studio wants to risk him because he hasn't done much and Shazam isn't the biggest character right now.

Watching suicide squad cause nothing else is on and it's on hbo now

So much unnecessary about this movie.. I can't believe Ayer wrote this.. I know he only had a handful of months

But he clearly stole a ton from the animated movie, why not just keep the storyline simple.. worked for deadpool and the animated movie

Have some bomb or chemical weapon or some mcguffin that the government created and got in the wrong hands, so they need the SS to go get it.. since they can't go to the good guys.. and like the animated movie, gotta have some reason for Harley being there with her crazy self

Crazy to go to the likes of Will Smith and Jared Leto to John Cena

As for SS, it hurts to think the same guy that wrote Fury and End of Watch also wrote that.

^ literally just take elements of his movies and you got a good SS movie..

Also completely didn't even realize the damn movie had 3 helicopter crashes

But wouldn't shock me if they went with john cena considering they made a super model the primary villain in this

WW is now the 5th highest CBM domestically.

And speaking of box office, so much lost opportunity the past few weeks, what is this like the third week of no big box office success/films?

I mean it's the third week the Hitmans Bodyguard is in first place for gods sake, I mean yeah it's low box office but it seems like the past 3 weeks is prime position for JL or Thor 3 instead of being crammed towards the end of the year to eventually go toe to toe with SW

And here I am thinking there are almost not much breaks from these films (except for Disney stacking the year) but these stretch of lulls from studios just seems so weird

would have been good for any big box office film releases, getting the #1 three weeks in a row and with IT being the only comp next week and it's R-rated means they could have a full month of domination

a week after that is just Mother with JLaw before Kingsman a week later

that is 5 weeks of open box office

The problem was that there were so many damn films released in July. 7 high profile movies.

Leto does not seem enthused at all but gets the business and seems to not care to an extent.

 If Geoff Johns really does the 3 Jokers thing in the movies.
