DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

So most of their content are going to be cartoons? I guess they gotta fill it up with something.

I thought titans was going to be on tnt. Sounds like they started grabbing stuff that was going to be on other platforms for themselves.

Young Justice is season 3 of the cancelled show from Cartoon Network a few years back

they have a lot of tv shows dating back to the Adam West era and I believe some Superman ones even earlier than that

but it's definitely not enough unless they're charging like $1.99 or $2.99 per month

Wan developing Swamp Thing?...nice

Literally the only thing that got me other than the continuation of Young Justice...

A dark horror based Swamp Thing could be great...Just feels more like it should be a movie...They tried taking the character to series in the late 80’s / early 90’s and it was pretty bad...Just seems hard to sustain a long running story with the guy...Maybe if they do a monster of the week type of thing...

i hope they tap further into their imprints like Vertigo and Wildstorm

but if Swamp Thing is a possibility then Sandman is probably being considered too

more Preacher?

bring back the Constantine show

Booster Gold could be a good show in itself though he could probably appear in LoT too

plenty of possibilities and hopefully without the constraints of network tv (no need for a 23 episode season) they could churn out better products

CW writers are pretty good when starting things off but the 23 episode per season kills them and they can't sustain it in the long run

all their DC shows had a good first and second season and then it just all goes downhill from there

i feel like that is what is happening with AoS right now too, since their never assured a renewal, they make their stories more compact because they are trying to throw everything they can in the current season and they aren't making filler episodes and it resulted in almost every episode having substance and significance, it almost never drags like the first few seasons

what channel swamp thing on?

yall remember the 80’s movie?

i was a little kid that movie scared the **** out of me. made my skin crawl

well damn just looked it up it was written and directed by wes craven

Movie was good...Little quirky but very creepy too...

Another horror movie connection was that Harry Manfredini did the soundtrack...He also did the score for the original Friday the 13th...

Anyway the movie definitely had a low budget horror movie vibe...

If they want a procedural just do a Law and Order type show in Gotham called GCPD. Throw a comic villain and little glimpses of Batman every now and then.

Margot Robbie Teases An "R-Rated Girl Gang" BIRDS OF PREY Movie

During an interview with Collider, the Academy Award-nominated actress revealed that she's actually been working on the project for three years, having first pitched the idea back when she was shooting Suicide Squad.

“I pitched the idea of an R-rated girl gang film including Harley, because I was like, ‘Harley needs friends.’ Harley loves interacting with people, so don’t ever make her do a standalone film. She’s got to be with other people, it should be a girl gang. I wasn’t seeing enough girl gangs on screen, especially in the action space. So that was always a big part of it."

Of course, just because Robbie pitched an R-rated Birds of Prey back then, it doesn't necessarily mean that it will be - but the actress was instrumental in Yan coming on board and seems to have a very clear vision for what she wants from the project, so it's definitely a strong possibility.

“And then of course having a female director to tell that story. And giving a female director the chance to do big budget stuff. They always get ‘Here’s the tiny little film’… I was like, ‘I love action. I love action films. I’m a girl. What, are we meant to only like a specific thing’?” So it was a hugely important to find a female director for this, if possible. But at the end of the day — male, female — the best director gets the job and Cathy was the best director."
And what of those other Harley Quinn-related projects that are supposedly in the works? While it sounds like they are still in development, in a separate interview with Moviefone, Robbie revealed that she's had very little to do with them and has been focusing on working towards Birds of Prey with with screenwriter Christina Hodson.

Who wants to watch this? I mean who woke up one day and thought a bunch of people would be interested in some **** like this? (This aint aimed at you rfx45 rfx45 )

i just report what's out there so no offense taken but i honestly would give anything Margot Robbie does a look

as bad as SS might have been, she did Harley pretty well

though thinking about it, i am probably the worst person to ask because i'd watch any comic book related films/tv show no matter what anyways, i'm just a fan of the genre

DCEU, for it's many flaws, did cast some of the characters pretty well

margot, will and Davis from that movie especially.. expected more/better from Leto, but don't know if that's on him
