I think regardless of AM is reviewed good or not it will still sell. It’s just a different kind of CM movie.

its an uphill battle though since he has been the jarjar binks of the dcworld for the longest
getting a bad*ss khal was a step int he right direction but there were some backlash with getting a non-blonde/non-white aquaman
they definitely got the right director with the vision to do an underwater star wars and dint hold back
i am just hoping for it to be good enough to have legs in the box office because i dont think they'll rake in big bucks right off the bat with the competition like Spiderverse and Bumblebee getting very good to great reviews/word of mouth
and thats before mary poppins kicks them all out of the water (pun intended)
they really should have released this past weekend, there was no big release with ralph2 and grinch raking in $30m combined from the #1 and #2 spot
now with it being released in china and likely leaking, they'll lose some viewers and its still ~2 weeks before release

Warner Bros.' Reveals Full BIRDS OF PREY Cast Including THE MINDY PROJECT's Chris Messina As Victor Zsasz
It's been revealed today that Chris Messina (Argo) has been cast as the villainous Victor Zsasz in Birds of Prey. A serial killer with no regard for human life, the Batman villain carves a mark into his skin for every life he takes, slowly covering his entire body in scars. In news which probably won't surprise you, he'll be working alongside Ewan McGregor's Black Mask.
While we know that Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Jurnee Smollett-Bell will lead the cast as Harley Quinn, Huntress, and Black Canary, a number of other casting additions have been made alongside Messina.
Their roles are being kept a secret but Steven Williams (The Chi), Derek Wilson (Preacher), Dana Lee (Dr. Ken), Francois Chau (The Expanse), and Matthew Willig (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs) have all also joined the movie. Chances are they'll all be playing characters from the comic books and some may even be taking on the role of other Batman villains.
Deadline does note that Wilson will be an associate of Rosie Perez's Renee Montoya, so chances are he's a Gotham City cop.

Reading all this it’s looking like this will be a venom caliber movie. Not good but at least you can watch it
