Henry Cavill spotted near Detroit, will shoot ‘Batman vs. Superman’ for 10 months?
A lucky fan, Gjonnyboy as he goes by on the IMDb message boards, bumped into the Man of Steel himself last Friday night. Henry Cavill was at a bar called Imperial in Ferndale, Michigan with his trainer. Gjonnyboy spoke to Cavill, who assured him that everything was fine with Batman vs. Superman production, despite rumors that the delay meant something was terribly wrong.
MLive.com also talked to some people who were at Imperial that night with Cavill. According to their sources, Cavill is expected to be in Detroit for the next 10 months. That’s an awfully long time to shoot a movie — unless he’s also filming Justice League… back-to-back. Nothing is confirmed at this point, but that certainly adds some fuel to the fire.
‘Batman vs. Superman’ production has not been delayed, reports Deadline
Last week Warner Bros. announced that Batman vs. Superman’s release date was pushed back to May 6th 2016. They said that Zack Snyder and crew needed more time to “realize fully their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story”. Because of this, Warner Bros. also announced that Batman vs. Superman production would be pushed back to the second quarter of the year — April/May.
Well now the always reliable Deadline reports that Ben Affleck had to drop out of a directing gig because Batman vs. Superman production has not been delayed, and he and the other main actors are needed to start working on it right away. Filming was originally going to start in February, and it sounds like that may not change now.

The actress confirms the family will be relocating to the city
The actress was talking to Detroit Sports 105 earlier this week to promote her new movie Draft Day, when she explained that the couple will be relocating to the city later this year while filming takes place. "I'll be there this summer," she said.
"Yep, all summer. My husband is [filming in Detroit]. Batman is shooting and… or whatever it's called. I don't know what it's called… Superman with Batman, whatever it is. But he is shooting this summer, so we'll be there."
