DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

another method would be to act each scene twice

one for the underwater body movements, then again with just the face and mesh the face acting with body acting like they did for scrawny steve rogers in cap first avenger

That's actually a great idea!

I misread, thought you said film in zero-gravity chamber.

would be really cool to see on screen though

nah I think they would just go full cgi before doing that

For reference, this is how they did it in Harry Potter

Just got back from seeing it with my daughter...ill give it a 7/10...for refrence i consider the first keaton batman joint to be 9/10.

The under water scenes can be made also like the movie The Abyss ...remember seeing a short doc on how they made it and it was pretty cool.

James CamGod about to show these suckas how to pull off underwater scenes :hat
by going full CG :lol

Wasn't the George Miller Justice League film going to feature some sort of Atlantis battle? and iirc he was going to go the motion capture route too

Cameron is really dedicated to it so I do look forward to the day he succeeds at it. I just hope it doesn't end up being like an Avatar or Gravity type movie where the script and story really isn't there and it's all hype based off of the spectacle not the film.

Advancements in film are great but shouldn't give a movie a pass.

Been thinking what kind of mostly underwater movie could work that's not just Atlantis.

They need that awe factor to build up the gods like supes, aquaman and WW.. Then the spectacular of green lantern Corp

They should go hard after JJ Abrams

Kevin Smith and Ben haven't spoken in like 10 years. Thought they were still on the phone weekly but nah lol

They basically parted ways when Ben got married

It's been reported Kevin smith is reading all the drafts of ben's solo film..

And affleck is either divorced or getting divorced

I remember this and wish it was made but I forgot Jay Barchuel was cast as Maxwell Lord :lol

That's a fan reaction up there with Eisenberg cast as Lex.

Jennifer Garner doesn't/didn't like Kevin Smith? 8o Is there a story here? :lol

Seems to be a trend with the women Ben are in a relationship not mixing well with his friends :lol I remember then and recently that Matt Damon wasn't a big fan of Ben and JLo.

Kevin Smith: Jennifer Garner Ended My Friendship With Ben Affleck

Asked by Yahoo Movies on Friday about a potential Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice surprise at this year's Comic-Con — or if he knew whether or not Affleck was even in town — Smith replied: "Great question. I don’t know, because we're not f---ing tight. I have not been [close with him] in decades."

"That's old Ben," continued Smith, 43. "He's got a wife [Jennifer Garner] that don't [sic] care for me at all [Laughs]. And plus, honestly, he probably don't care for me at all anymore [either]. He's a triple-A-list movie star and s--t like that. If he's Jimmy Carter, I'm Billy Carter, to put it in '70s terms. And I'm not even related and s--t."

"Jennifer does not share the same sense of humor as me — she did not like my jokes," Smith said, according to the New York Daily News. "I was picking on Ben Affleck making fun of him because I've known him for a really long time — I was talking smack — and Jennifer goes, 'You know, if you keep saying stuff about him, I'm going to kick your a--.' And she could — I've seen Alias. She has a real girly sense of humor and didn't understand that I was kidding.

"I remember talking to Ben and being like, 'I know your lady is not finding me amusing. Ben, I've known you for years, and you are far sicker than I am!' His jokes are way dirtier than mine. He's made jokes to me, and I've been like, 'Ben, you need to go to church.'"

The Garner-Affleck tandem hasn't exactly endeared itself to former pals on either side. In a June appearance on Watch What Happens Live to promote his new film, Begin Again, Mark Ruffalo explained that he's no longer friends with Garner — his co-star in the 2004 film 13 Going on 30.

"We had a great time together, and I think we would (have kept in touch), but then Ben [Affleck] came on the scene and that was the end of that," said The Avengers star.

"I heard he doesn't allow her to have male friends," host Andy Cohen joked, before adding that he made that last part up. Ruffalo then called the end of his friendship with Garner "sad."

:lol He said decades like this goes back to the 80s or something.

I'm pretty sure they got together in the mid 2000s so at best one decade.

:rollin @ Ben ending Garner's friendship with Ruffalo. That's hilarious. Guess they're both pretty controlling and territorial ppl.

They're both free to be friends with whoever now though.
I like Kevin Smith, but damn. Dude shares a lot.:lol
I know right? :lol

One of the reasons I'm not a big fan of dude.
