Oh man, it's been too long since I did that. Once around 2002 me and my girl scheduled it so we could catch four movies in one day. It was awesome.

After hear that the initial cut was 4 hours, I wonder if this movie was intended to be a 2 part movie. Makes sense tho, because they could have done like the matrix sequels and released both movies within the same year. The first movie could have been about everything leading up to the fight between bats and supes, followed by the second movie about the formation of the Justice League.

The more distance that gets between when I saw this movie till now makes me realize how dumb certain things are. Like I'll just be doing everyday things and something about this film will pop into my head and I'll just think to myself "that was stupid"

exactly.. I went into the movie with my sis and dad, who obviously aren't deep into this comic book movie game.. but like trying explain to them why certain stuff happened and literally having zero answers
and then like I would come in here.. read stuff... and then think of other stuff (like I thought of the impact the creation of doomsday meant for any child supes would possibly have with a non-kryptonian like a week after watching.. and WW just checking out on mankind a week and half later and what it meant for her solo movie and the character of that character)
I really feel bad for the actors because I think there is a lot there to work with talent wise and I like a lot of the things they did.. but they were failed in a lot of departments and I would hate to see this thrown on them because the studio made some terrible decisions

-what exactly did the guy that turned over an alien ship and an alien corpse to lex get in return, no one seems to know the answer to this. Lex gets those things and the guy gets fed a cherry jolly rancher. You can't just turn over that kinda stuff and not walk out with a billion for yourself
- I don't get the shaving of the head, they don't do that in prison
-Lex hating superman was never really explained, it was just there, his entire motivations were never really explained. Why go through all that? to summon a being more powerful than you will ever be? LOL does he think Darkseid cares about him or will spare him when Lex has nothing he wants. They made lex dumber in this film
I'm still mad they showed WW in action in that final trailer, should have been completely left out. When she showed up in the movie she got scattered claps, should have been a standing ovation with the theater cheering. C3PO was better recieved in the force awakens and we knew he was gonna pop up.
I don't mind feels good to let it out again and again
I'm hoping someone can answer that first point for me too

1. I think that they shared the common interest of weaponizing Kryptonite/not trusting superman, but not sure. Need to watch again.
2. He hates the idea of a being being all powerful, and him not having power despite his genius intellect (basing this on his Freudian slip at the speech). Also Lex Sr. used to hit him apparently and that made him hate God. Dumb reason, but it's there

I understand you would need to watch it again(don't watch it again), but their convo didn't go like they were even agreeing with each other. Lex alluded to wanting the ship and body and the guy was almost scoffing at the ridiculousness at these notions, the scene itself was cut with shots of the body being delivered and and lex walking in the ship(i assume to distract the audience that there was in fact no answer my question). and even if they agreed I'm not turning over that kind of stuff to someone and not walking out the room with at least a billion dollars
