How in the HAAAAAYL is that a good point? That was an allegation; this is a fact. Dude brought a gun to the locker room, factually, not allegedly.

And why the hell would anyone follow that racist clown's twitter?

Can I get Zo a day pass or somethin so he can come on NT for a minute? I'd like a word.

Twitter is afire with news that Gilbert Arenas has been suspended indefinitely without pay by the NBA. This list will be updated:
  • KevinDurant35 jus pray for whatever u think he needs, thas all im saying..we all kno he messed up
  • AndrewMBogut Is it inappropriate to own a Water Pistol? What about if I had one in my locker and I sprayed someone with it? Im thinkin a SUPER SOAKER?
  • AndrewMBogut But then my old man would ruin everything and plug in a Pressure Washer and kill us all haha
  • teamziller Finger guns, man. We ain't talking about real guns (well, sort of). We talkin' about finger guns.
  • docfunk David Stern just put 3 suspensions around Gil's locker and made him pick one.

  • timkawakami David Stern suspends Arenas & upstages ********/Shanahan presser in DC. Obvious NBA retribution for Cowboys/Mavs conflict. (I joke!)
  • langwhitaker Quite a birthday for Gilbert...
  • bruce_arthur Contract voiding in 3...2...1...
  • BulletsForever You can legitimately argue that the action merits a season-long suspension. I did. But to suspend someone over a prank instead?
  • CSheridanESPN What tipped the scales in the Arenas case? My opinion: It had a lot to do w/photo you can see by clicking on espn.com nba homepage.
  • CSheridanESPN ... statement from Wizards reeks of disgust, making me suspect they're leaning toward voiding Arenas' contract, a la Warriors w/Sprewell.
  • chadfordinsider Can't put it past Stern RT @benfraley I'm guessing "PERHAPS WORSE" is something out of "The Godfather"
  • STEIN_LINE_HQ ESPN.com sources: Some of Gil's closest pals pleaded w/him for days to stop being so chatty/unrepentant about the situation. Unsuccessfully
  • dcsportsbog Jerry Stackhouse on SIRIUS XM earlier this week, speaking of Gilbert: "He's just kind of a pain in the butt sometimes."
  • JonesOnTheNBA I know people have made this about guns, but let's focus on the gambling aspect for a sec. That is what caused all of this.
  • thinkkaz Showdown at the O.K. Corral & Stern wins. Who would have thought the guy w/no guns wins
  • kpelton When did David Stern turn into Roger Goodell?
  • PDcavsinsider Don't expect any tears from Cavs over Arenas.
  • HPbasketball crap but I do wonder this. On Stern's watch we have the Malice at the Palace, Stephen Jackson, and Arenas. Honest question...
  • HPbasketball Do we overestimate Stern's ability to maintain tight control? MLBPA runs their show and they seem to have better luck ...
  • PDcavsinsider Just saw Shaq. His thoughts: "You got to watch that Twitter."
  • dcsportsbog New to me: After making a jumper against Memphis last week, Arenas playfully holstered his finger guns http://bit.ly/8nOrnK
  • KevinDurant35 yea no doubt [h]e deserves to be punished
  • russbengtson *waits for Stern to suspend the Suns for implementing the run and gun offense*
  • teamziller The Finger Shots Heard 'Round the World.
  • HPbasketball The NBAPA's statement can be paraphrased as "We're trying to figure out how in hell we're going to stand up in outrage for this whackjob."
  • dcsportsbog Sweet! Gilbert's law firm just put out another fake, lawyered-up apology! How long until Gilbert subverts it on Twitter?

wiz threw him under the bus..

they're definitely gonna try n void the deal n rebuild..

FST2-250.gif

It's not like ESPN photoshoped that or anything, Gil did it himself.

How can you feel pity on someone who willingly makes a mockery of the rules and of decent, logical behavior?

i know when bassy got caught with the gun on the plane the league suspended him for a few games.
I know there are different gun laws but is the fact that gil is viewing this as a joke plus the numerous guns the reason for his timely suspension.

By his twitter he seems not to like ska very much....

So

If Gil would have handled the situation after the gun incident in a more serious manner: Wrote an open letter of apology and avoided all of the gun imitationantics,

How do yall think Stern would have handled the situation? I mean, he was probably facing suspension regardless.....maybe the severity would have beendifferent.

He would be playing tonight but eventually get suspended.

Wait, so earlier you said that people were out of line for talking about him pulling a gun out on a teammate, because they weren't there and they don't know and they're just going off word of mouth... but then you come through talking about how he jokingly placed the gun in a seat with a note on it, like you were there or something.

laugh.gif

Bottom line, he brought a gun to work.

And then issued a statement saying it's no laughing matter and he realizes that now... and then he goes on to laugh about it and joke about it.

my man what are u talkin about...He admitted to bringing guns to the arena...he violated the rules...so he should be suspended...duhhh

all the "pulled the gun on a teammate" crap isnt what happened....that was the false information people were presented with early on and ppl continueto run with it....the story about guns on the chair is whats been said by sources that were there...i would rather believe that THAN guns pulled on eachother...cuz if that was really the case...where is all the heat for the other guy drawing down

So he's basically the biggest Suns fan on Earth and he's been jealous of the Lakers franchise since birth. So when Shaq got traded, Zo went on a nonstop rampage about how the Lakers would never be good again and the Suns would rule the league with the little girl Nash and the even sissier little Amary. Hewent on and on and on and on. He cried like a girl when Kobe was let off the hook for the rape case, he swore up and down that he knew people in Colorado thatsaid he did in fact rape her, he said Kobe was the anti Christ, everything.

On top of all that, he's pretty rasicst and just loves to make jokes about Kentucky, or Tennessee or some of those southern type states, mostly becausethey beat his precious Memphis squad all the time. He basically is a sore @#$ loser who by now should be used to losing since he's a Suns fan, butwhatever.

So he finally pushed and pushed so damn much that Ska got tired of him and banned him for life. So he went to Twitter and blares his tireless worthless losingopinions about the Suns on there, thinking someone in the world cares what his worthless bum @#$ thinks.

He runs his mouth, but is basically just bitter that his Suns will never win anything of value in his life and so he takes it out on people he hates, ala Kobewhom he has wished dead many times on this board. However, if Kobe were traded to the Suns he would become the biggest Kobe fan you ever saw.

Bottom line, Zo is a worthless douche, but I miss him, because I would LOVE to show him over and over and over highlights of the Lakers once again pissing allover his favorite franchise and hoisting up trophies just like we always have.
pimp.gif
And I promise you, he would go on tirade after tirade if he were still here about anything he could concerning the Lakers, witness him STILL cryingrape 6 years after the fact during of all things, a gun offense.

Hardly relatable, but that's Zo, aka Kate Faber in disguise.

The end.

Dude has been reckless in the way he's been going about the whole situation since the story broke. I dunno if you saw what he was tweeting, but he has ZERO remorse for what he did. It's like he just doesn't understand the magnitude of how much trouble he is actually in. The fact that hehas a prior gun charge in AZ to now, having 3 UNREGISTERED guns in DC, he's done. In "done" I mean, his contract will most likely be voided and*poof*, there go his endorsements. I still am failing to see how someone can be THIS stupid.

and now the timeline....I posted this in the other thread, but can someone clear this up for me?

The timeline w. Gil and the guns just isn't adding up....maybe someone can clarify for me.

Now, when exactly was Gil being investigated for having firearms in the VC? Was that before or after the 21st? Because the guns weren't confiscated, something tells me that he didn't relay any information about his heat being at the VC until AFTER the incident with Crittendon. Maybe he did want the guns out of his house due to his newborn baby, but that reason didn't go public until after his altercation w. Critt. This is where the problem is.

Arenas said he told employees at the VC that he had the guns when he brought them in initially...or did he? If he did, why would he still have access to his lockbox after a West Coast trip? If the employees at the VC did know about the guns, I would think they would have confiscated them upon learning that they were on the arena grounds.

This is where I'm confused.

*another thing...I heard on the radio on my drive home tonight that Gil violated the CBA as soon as he brought the guns into the VC....of course the union willtry to back him, but the Wizards may have the upper-hand in seeing that the voiding of the contract indeed goes through. He's probably played his lastgame in a Wizards uniform.
