ESPN NFL - D. Hall to the Raiders - ESPN's Chris Mortenson reports Falcons trade CB DeAngelo Hall to Raiders for 2nd-round pick in 2008.

His athleticism is put to waste. All that speed/agility and he hasn't done anything special in the past two years.

I bet he's glad he doesn't have to go against Steve Smith twice a year anymore

Despite the NT cracks...dude is still a very good CB..

and if true...they got a damn good pair now

For sure he is a very good CB, but with that athleticism, I think he had/still has the potential to be an elite name in the NFL

Deangelo is one of my favorite CBs. Gonna miss him as a Falcon.

Raiders secondary is gonna be sick next season with Deangelo, Asomugha, Gibril Wilson, and Michael Huff.

Along with Dangelo Hall comes JRain....congrats Raiders fans....along w. a new CB, you got a new fan

Was Asomugha franchised this off-season? Is there a chance he may bolt next year?

Nice...hopefully we can pick up dmac with our first pick and I'll be happy with the raiders offseason..the only thing that would make it even better is aldavis retiring...or dying (syke....kinda lol)...

With all of these picks the falcons have..we BETTER have 3 OL picks in the draft..and PLEASSEE NO MATT RYAN

Wow, is this true? If so... the Raiders secondary is going to be disgusting.

I'm still not gonna stop raggin on ya'll for the $5 billion dollar deal Davis gave Kelly, but this REALLY helps make up for it. I wonder why the Giantsdidn't give up this years first for him?

And another thing, I think the Falcons secondary will now consist of Lawyer Milloy, Erik Coleman, Von Hutchins, and Chris Houston now.

Another thing:

Hall is close to agreeing to a contract with the Raiders that will pay him just below what Asante Samuel signed with the Eagles, according to the source. Samuel signed a six-year deal worth a reported $57 million, with $20 million guaranteed.
And they gotta pay Asomugha... might have some cap problems soon
