Death of a 16-year old pair of Air Max 95s :(

Reached into my closet for the first time in a few months to wear these old white/black/red AM 95s that I bought in June of 1998, and to my dismay the soles were peeling back from the heels. Will miss this old friend from the first batch of AM 95s 'retro'd' during 1997-1998.

I always took good care of these and I maybe wore them a total of 20 times in the 16 1/2 years I had them. I guess that amount of time just inevitably eats away at the foam and air pockets.
