I love the fact that they exist..I hate the fact that they stay talking about WWE and how they're so much better, when in reality they're WWE-Lite..I hate that they promised us something different and the only difference between them and WWE is they have far worse angles and their matches are more boring/more botchey..

Aew is trash because Cody pretends to be a top guy when he’s not on that level. Jericho washed. Funny acts are more popular than the sports based they pretended they were going to be. They got all those old wise wrestling minds there but yet wrath of khan seems to be in the way. Jack thwagger. omega isn’t pushed. tag matches are cirque du soleil. Moxley will always just be jeans.

No matter how he attempts to present himself, Cody isn't a top guy. One transitional world title reign in a major company at best.

The only time Cody looked like a main eventer was the feud with The Authority where they beat The Shield. Cody has always been better at character work like Dashing and Undashing Cody instead of just wrestler Cody.

Cody still wrestles like a WWE mid-carder..He's always a step too slow and his matches are paced/laid out exactly the same as his WWE work..He went to the indies/Japan/ROH and didn't evolve one single ounce..He can't keep up with the people he's hired in AEW and it shows badly..His best match was against his brother and that tells you everything you need to know about him and his career..

He’s such an anomaly. He can do very good character work just like Dusty and Dustin, but as straight up Cody, he still wrestles that cute safe 07-11 WWE developmental style. His matches 100% need stipulations to be engaging.
